5th of Snow Maiden, SA 36

It is with heavy heart that we learn of Xiong Mei’s passing.

Friends, family, and any who would wish to pay respects are invited to a funeral service held in the Tianrui Teahouse on the next Dragon’s Day.

A meditation shall be led by myself before any who wish to speak of her life may come forth, and offerings placed for the cremation.

Signed,

Tianrui Ren

Xiong Lihua, a visitor to Yong Ping, sat quietly by the shore with an ornate wooden case in her lap. In her hands, she held a copy of the announcement, which she read over with a quiet sigh. "The next part of our journey is nearly upon us," She said aloud, looking down at the box she carried. "My work is nearly finished."
