To the Jade State of Yong Ping and her citizens,

 

As the twin dragon finds itself once more with only one grand head to govern our Jade State, I wish to first of all pay my humble respects to the former Chancellor Hirano Nanako for her service to our nation and the nation’s citizens. She has not only molded our homeland into a place of prosperity, but also peace. 

 

Having served as a member of the Yong Ping Army for over 30 years, as well as being Protector General of the Yong Ping Army for 10 years, I wish to offer you, the citizens of the Jade State as well as the Council of our nation, my continuous service to the people of Yong Ping as Chancellor of our nation in order to preserve the core values of our homeland, as well as secure a stable and prospering future for every single citizen.

 

While the duties of the Chancellor are varied and demanding, requiring utmost loyalty and focus from each and every individual who has and shall be ready to serve in such a position, I wish to lay greatest focus, without negligence, upon these essential duties:

 

-The defense against aggression towards the Jade State and her Citizens

 

-Acting as the voice of the people as well as their servant in respect to their wishes

 

-Staffing of ministries with competent and diligent citizens of our nation

 

-Expanding and provisioning the Yong Ping Army in both times of peace and war

 

-Reforming conscription laws

 

-The economic growth of the Jade State of Yong Ping

 

-A stable diplomatic relationship with foreign nations

 

-An increase upon border patrols by the Yong Ping Army.

 

-A new form for citizens of the Jade State to directly petition to the Office of the Chancellor.

 

With the prosperity of Yong Ping and her citizens at my heart and mind, I shall also be seeking to unburden those of lower-income via a more open job market, potential reductions of costs in respect of health care depending upon the income of an individual, as well as improved and fair education for those willing to educate themselves into a different field of career.

 

Furthermore, as Chancellor, I would invest into agricultural growth for our farmland, providing the Jade State of Yong Ping and her citizens with additional crops for the evermore growing population. 

 

It shall be through the sweat of our government, and the sweat of our citizens that our nation shall stand tall in the face of adversity.

Tianrui Fumi, Duizhu and Master of Arms of the Yong Ping People's Army scanned the missive over, speaking in low tones with one of her best friends, Kin-kun. "This says he's running for Chancellor, Kin-kun. I wonder what will happen with the Army, it's all I've known since I was a child." Despite her uttered words, she did welcome the change to an extent, wondering where next the Army might take her after the recent fight in Elvenesse and previous long-term fight when dealing with the Pirates led by Duhu Tianrui Ryu himself.

"It'll be fine Fumi. It always has been and it always will be." He smiled to his big sister "He'll look out for us like the last Duhu did." 


Twilight sat down and read the parchment trying to use to show her newest child how to read "I'm going to miss sitting next to him if he wins.... but what's this word?" She asked the child about 'the' word the every time it came up aka 28 times
