AFFIRMATION OF THE CULTURAL LAWS OF WALDENIA

 

On the 12th of Sun’s Smile, 1853, the Second Waldenic Diet convened on the matter of affirming the cultural laws of Waldenia established at the First Waldenic Diet. Through a lengthy debate and analysis of the customary law, it was determined that its tenets needed to be properly codified. A proposal was penned and put forward as a motion to the Second Session by the Electorate of MERRYWEATHER-ALSTREIM. Citing time concerns and the circumstances of the ongoing holiday season, the Diet called a vote on the adoption of the proposed Sacred Law of Waldenia through mail. The replies were coordinated and tallied by the end of the Saint’s Day.

As the session was concluded through postal voting, no motion to adjourn was called nor necessary. An agreement was reached to resume the agenda at the Third Session of the Second Waldenic Diet.
