THE PRINCELY BETROTHAL

 

Let it be henceforth known that, following extensive discussion between the respective heads of each House, the comital Houses of Pruvia and van Aert will be joined with the union of  H.I.H. Gaspard van Aert and Her Ladyship Anastasie de Provins before GOD. The pair will be wed within the forests beneath Chateau d’Aubépine in the presence of their peers, compatriots, and family. Following the ceremony, the wedding party will migrate to the chateau proper for a reception complete with merrymaking and feasting. The bride will lead a group in bundling bouquets of hawthorn flowers to herald auspice in the newlywed’s future, as well as a jubilant group dance for all ladies in attendance.

TIMETABLE

 

LA BÉNÉDICTION : On the thirteenth eve of Sun’s Smile, 1859 ((Sunday February 13th, @2pm EST), the Countess Provins will bless the bride and her steed with Valerian dust before a traditional Campagnois wedding ceremony is performed.

 

LE CARNAVAL: Immediately following the ceremony, the party will make its way to the courtyard of the chateau to begin the dancing. Retainers of House Pruvia will make rounds about the grounds serving hors d'oeuvres and champagne, as well as the House’s signature Pruvian Port.

 

LA PRIME: The newly-annointed Princess of Renatus will invite all willing guests to bundle their own bouquet of port-soaked Hawthorn bouquets in order to please the fairies and invite good fortune into the pair’s married life.
