Somewhere in the Seven Skies, a boy, who had grown the appearance of a man (though were no less than a boy than he were those many years ago), sought to find his parents. He had avoided them out of shame, until now, perhaps times were different now.

Antal’s life had been one of great turmoil from the beginning, arriving to Nordengrad with Anatoly unsure of what awaited him. He had been proud to serve Clan Rosik though. Even after the war, living in exile, he had never forgotten Carina. Upon her arrival to the Allfather’s halls, he greeted her warmly.

Joseph pried the wax seal away with his fingers, hastily tugging open the parchment as his worst fears came to life, the fear of any parent, a universal fear which transcends time, nation, culture or identity. The man had remembered his wifes ill feeling prior, a sickening reality playing out before them now like some crude theatre act. The words upon the letter did not make sense, they could not, and yet he read.

It was not a long missive, just enough to tell the man what had happened. What had transpired, what he could not protect her from. Joseph thought back upon their last meeting, that day he walked her down the aisle, he paused having lowered his voice as he whispered into Lucia's ear

"Well, regardless of what lies ahead, I respect your desire to follow through, duty. Though you are still my daughter and I will ask you honestly. This path leads to victory, or death.... You are my daughter and I fear for you, there is a high likelihood you will die, if you do not wish such we will go, no questions asked."

The pair stood in silence, the fathers head gesturing to the path where a cart back to Azor waited, ready to carry the girl home safely in her fathers charge if she so decided.

"I know your answer.... But I must ask all the same."

"I cannot break my word. This will cause my demise, Father. I know. But it must be done.

Joseph had leaned forward then and pressed a small kiss upon the girls forehead as a tear rolled down his cheek, together they walked down the aisle.

She knew, she had always known, from the moment she asked him to introduce her at court, there was a feeling within the man this would not end in sunshine, but so he went a man does not dare defy his daughters that rarely ended well the Duke had learned through decades of being a father. The letter that had been in his hand had fallen alongside the man crumpling to the wooden dock as easily as Joseph too did crumble, servants rushed and he was carried to the waiting wagon to take him back to Azor, to take him back to his prison, for a parent who had known their childs death, every day was a sentence of horrid confinement.

Ivory, Ive known you for a long while and if one this has been certain, youve always cared about the community, about your community. We didnt really interact much until your Princess Imperial but it was always a joy RPing, just the same with Amadea and your other characters. I loved having you as a daughter, even if it wasnt for very long I hope you enjoyed it too, a wild ride it was.
