What has happened to our military?

Hello my fellow Elves. It has come to my attention that we are no longer a threat to the undead force that constantly is attacking. All the races never expect us at battles, for we barely ever show up. We must stop this! The only way we can ever win this war is if all the 4 races stick together, and fight as one. This cannot happen while the Elves are cowering in their trees. We have no main military force. Aye, we have the Wardens. But, let me ask ye this. When was the last time ye saw a mobile attacking force, sent by the Wardens, to go attack? Personally, I never have. The greatest number of wardens in one attacking force I have ever seen, is 7. That CANNOT make much of a difference in a battle. We need a better army! I propose we make an Army that is both numerous and skilled. We need to get more involved in the world. The slave traders that work for Wrath have constantly caused many people trouble. But have us elves ever helped attack? No! We have stayed in our trees! We need a new force, we need a new army, and we need it NOW!

Please my Elven kin, Help me form an army worthy of Malinor. Help me form an army that will strike fear in the hearts of our enemies when they hear the name of it. We must forge the army that Malinor would want us to. This army needs to be new! It needs to be organised! It needs to be strong! Please, hear the call. Help fight for the forest!

~Signed, Elm.

Elm,

I'm not sure where you come to the conclusion that the Elves are incapable of fending off the Undead or aren't capable of doing so. I've personally clashed with the ghouls many times, and I can't think of a time where I haven't been assisted by the arrows of our kin.

As for the Wardens, you must realize that they are reorganizing their structure and that they have certain rules pertaining to strikes. I did not agree with these rules or with the new leader, so I left the Wardens altogether to accomplish my own goals. But I know enough of their ways to know that they are not incapable of fighting. They've even had Undead attacks at their camp in recent days...

If anything, reform against the Undead goes down to the common man - the regular elf. If every citizen of Malinor were to steel himself and sharpen his sword, the Undead wouldn't even come near us. We don't need an elite strike force: we just need an elite mindset.

Elves are peaceful nature loving creatures.

Do not take this as a misconception that we are weak, we bring with us strong relationship

between our brethren bonds and we are strong, quick and agile.

We Elves know not of bringing the fight to others but we will however strike when we are struck.

That is my definition of being an elf.

Feel free to comment on how you think my definition and opinion is wrong or correct. :D

*scribbles a small 'thumbs up' on the note*

((elves are peace loving and will almost never go out looking for a fight, most elves seem to have trouble Rp'ing this.even dark elves are peace loving, despite the fact that they tend to have a sword preference.and i agree with what Ashur posts, its up to the individual, and how they act.

and as a warden i have seen battles with over 15 wardens.numerous times.do not this we are gone, while our structure is somewhat new,it is there, and it is running.

yet think of Malinor's policy like this: Massive Elven Retaliation.

M.E.R. means that we dont start any fights. however,if you attack us in anyway, expect a thousand-fold force spear heading into you, courtesy of the mighty elven nation.))
