Couriers heard yelling riding on their steads galloping through peasant villages and towns of the former rebel vassals “The Kingdom of Oren has surrendered! The war is over, Peace! Peace!”. When the men and women of Minitz first heard the news they rejoiced. Finally, they are able to settle down somewhere in these lands in peace without the worry of being persecuted by Orenian loyalists. This all began one sunny day, the warriors of Theodoric's Warband were noticed by the men and women of Minitz to be in a state of high alert as they started motioning everyone in Mardon to head to Castle Duress, soon after the sound of a horn could be heard across the Viscounty. 

 

The Chieftain and Viscount were holding a High Moot.
 

 

 

The Chieftain Leon Barclay leader of the Minitz Tribe and The Viscount Dietrich Barclay lord of the lands to come, stood in front of the tribesmen and women inside the inner courtyard of Castle Duress addressing the people of Minitz of the ongoing conflict between the Crown and Acre, eventually leading to the topic of The Viscounty of Minitz joining alongside Acre to defeat the Kingdom of Oren. Ever since then they feared venturing outside and layed low within the town of Mardon. Then the news came. Their Chief and Lord came back victorious, marching back into Mardon with cheers from the warband as they went. The Kingdom of Oren was no more. With the civil war won, the people of Minitz can now lay the foundations for their new home. 

 

The construction of Minitz was underway.
