The Chaldees Incident

The following was penned by a particularly biased little lady.

Within the time-gnawed alleys of Chaldees, a dinky shop known as The Witch & The Writer witnessed the crumbling of a marriage-to-be. A blackened creature festooned with ugly scales and a putrid flamey maw was wholly refused in a proposal of love by the Great Witch of Chaldees. Lo! The dastardly thing should know its place. Perturbed by its vicious rejection, the scale-face went on a violent tirade of smokey slander. Were it not for the benevolence of the ruler of Chaldees, Sahar, and the voluminous Monkey-god under the influence of the Great Witch, the thing would have surely seen to the destruction of my little store!

Now I state here, my desire to find and reprimand this great monster. I offer all those brave binders of baleful beasts three whole bottles of honey for its capture!

Attached below was some silly sketch.

Sahar, enervated by the day's incursion, expressed a cheshire grin followed by a prattling 'hek-hek-hek' cackle as sweeping, heavy-lidded eyes skimmed the contents of the notice. He descended from his study, waddling across to a posterboard to pin the leaflet.

The Witch of Chaldees lamented in heartbreak!

That or the scaring off of her customers.

A distant entity grimaces. - From his seat beyond the heavens. Before long, he mounts his glittering chariot and soars off into the horizon.

There was an annoyance to nip.

A missive is pinned underneath, unseen, and achieved by some mad means

It DISPLEASES Tor-Azdroth to see the wicked SLANDER of its prince.

The machinating peoples of Chaldees have made insult and more to the An-Gho, as its residents displayed naught but the immaturity of the unlearned before the GRACIOUS sight of the Third-Eye.

The Witch herself found herself heartbroken, unloved and unwanted by the cold bonds of the arranged marriage she devised. She was so distraught by the rejection of her suitor that she cast a terrible curse by use of her proxy child on the dragon of her heart; the An-Gho. The Witch of Chaldees is therefore accused of SLANDER and anti-Nephillic sentiment, as propagated by those anti-Horenic Xachist hogs.

The only repayment to be accepted by the nephillim will be completion of the agreement made between the standing Sultan of Chaldees, Sahar and the prince of Tor-Azdroth, An-Gho.

  • Magnificent Asioth, bride to the An-Gho, must be found and brought to the An-Gho by the Sultan Sahar, finder of lost things.

With much ambivalence,

- The An-Gho
