DECLARATION OF REGENCY

9th of Harren's Folly, 1901

 

To His Majesty the King of Balian and its people,

 

We are saddened to announce that a sudden bout of illness has temporarily incapacitated the Baron of Castelorena. During our period of recovery, we hereby entrust our relative Marcus Galbraith to act as our Regent and represent our Noble House before the Crown in all affairs of state. 

 

Furthermore, in the scenario of a permanent incapacitation or death of the Baron, we hereby entrust our Regent, Marcus Galbraith, to inform the Crown of this circumstance and to request His Majesty the King to declare that our peerage shall be abdicated or inherited, respectively, by its rightful successors, that is, Carles Galbraith, as our eldest son and heir.

 

The Baroness-Consort will remain in the company of our family, as the Baron receives care from the Kingdom’s finest doctors and we pray for the Baron’s health.

 

Finally, we hereby renew our oath of allegiance to the Crown as we swear our fealty to His Majesty Alexander I,  by the Grace of GOD, King of Balian, Viscount of Eflen, Baron of Brucca, Lord of Atrus and Monterosa, Prince of the Holy Orenian Empire, Protector of the Heartlanders and Protector of the South, etcetera.

 

God save the King and the Prince of the Holy Orenian Empire.
