It is all about the preservation of aegis and the protection of all it,s people. This guild has been around for weeks now and i have had the cooperation of availer, pointblank898 and some freinds (all of these people have been a great help and i would like to thank them). I scattered books around the world hoping that people would eventually find them all and be able to join the guild and prove themselves worthy. But not many people have been succesful so i will be recruiting this way. They have ensured peace and the balance of evil and good are equal. From their secret fortress they conducted missions to purge the land of all things evil. They were one thousand strong and nothing could stop them from cleansing the land. They did not expect however to be attacked from within, an apprentice known to his comrades as Cleansing flame had become tainted and corrupt, although he did not know it yet. The following weeks would be filled with pain and suffering, loss and salvation. Cleansing flame had started to become tempted by Iblees again and although he still had control of his body and part of his mind he felt himself losing his grasp. Knowing that the final day was upon them all cleansing flame turned to his closest friend and ally, Callum the frozen blade. Frozen blade knew of only one way to stop the coming events but he did not tell cleansing flame of the plan. The plan was to in the middle of night kill cleansing flame as that was the only sure way of laying him to rest peacefully. The plan however failed as cleansing flame Leapt out of the dark and pulled Callum to the floor with a knife to his neck. Callum managed to struggle out of the hold but got caught in the eye by the blade. When he turned around Cleansing flame was gone. Knowing now what he had to do he rallied all the forces at the fortress to prepare for the final day. As dawn drew closer bringing along with it the final day, the brave soldiers manned their positions. Then it started with balls of magical hell fire fly over the walls and destroys houses and towers. The undead hoard broke down the main gate and poured on through killing anyone who dared stand in the way. Captain Krashiun was in the front lines halting a horde of zombies from getting over the main street barricade. With this moment of peace Frozen blade led a squad of men through the back alley ways escorting as many people out of the fortress and into the forest so that they may run for their own salvation and settle down elsewhere. When Frozen blade made it back to the barricade he could not see any sign of the guards or the captain, all he could see was a flaming barricade destroyed by the zombies who were now at the palace. Frozen blade watched from the roof tops as he saw the lifeless corpses of The high guardian, the council, and the guards and captain all lying on the ground with cleansing flame standing with the orb of power in his hands. With one final effort of desperation Frozen blade leapt off the roof tops and onto the floor in front of cleansing flame. He then drove his sword through the tyrant’s heart and everything evil disappeared. The last act of the lost order was to scatter the Books of the order all across aegis. And legend says that whoever finds all four volumes of the book can restore and join the order and cleanse all evil from the land once more. In the high city of laurelin stands, the tree of knowledge where the second book lands. Callum the frozen blade had managed to save the little amount of people that remained. Without a leader they were lost so they created a small village in the Whispering isles to live out the remainder of their lives but they still needed a leader. Frozen Blade took up the mantle of High Guardian and made a council of the people who he thought could make a difference. The first act to f the council was to send out scout parties to gather what resources they could find and try to establish contact. The first contact that was made was with the elves of laurelin and the scouts collected valuable information on farming. The scouts that found the dwarfs gathered information on mining, the scouts that reached the humans gathered information on scouting and fighting techniques and that they would become a problem in the future as they have the potential to become evil more than the rest of us. The scouts that reached the orks were killed in there arena by Ork gladiators, one managed to escape and came back to whispering isles severely wounded. He died a few days later. With this knowledge High guardian Frozen Blade established a growing town with a mine and farming capabilities along with a good defense. They expanded and kept dealing with the other nations until they were great friends. The first battle that was to be had was at an elven city that had been overrun with orks. The battle cost many lives and High guardian frozen blade got a blade through the chest and across the stomach. The forces of the elves, dwarfs, humans and the Lost ones managed to destroy the orks and go back to their cities. In whispering isles High guardian Frozen blade was lying in the hospital bleeding out and was close to death. The council rounded up there most trusted warriors to go back to the fortress and retrieve a goblet of water from the fountain of immortality. When they got back to the camp they gave the goblet to High guardian frozen blade that was moments from death. The next day everyone waited outside the tent waiting to hear from the council, but the news they had received was grave. The high guardian was in a coma and was unable to be revived and for the next few days everyone was silent going about their daily duties and so it would remain the hope and salvation that once filled all their hearts was shattered for the last time. The monument of a leader once gone now erodes away into whispers…. VOLUME 3 The lost ones: Volume Three Day in and day out the medics try to revive the High guardian while monitoring his health but with no success they begin to lose faith. The people of the village are starting to talk about leaving the town, and the guards are beginning to lose hope that their commander will ever wake. Anarchy is starting to take place and everyone knows what part they will play in it. The first signs of the anarchy was just mere talking’s but then they escalated into stealing which escalated into outright conflict. People were banished from the town and high walls were resurrected to prevent the coming tide of war. The arch mage sensed that there was more than just the tide of war coming there was an evil like no other that has begun its return. The outcast of the village had begun a war and demanded that they surrender or they all die including the High guardian. The arch mage who had taken up temporary leadership had told the guards to stand their ground. With those words the outcasts attacked and managed to scale the palisades and kill a few of the guards before they were fried by lightning that was conjured by the arch mage. Outcasts had made it into the town and where killing who ever got in the way and were frantically searching for the High guardian. The arch mage had told the medics to take the High guardian on a boat to the temple of aegis were the monks could look after him. One of the outcasts had spotted the boat and fired an arrow which hit a medic in the chest and he fell into the deep abyss of the ocean. Alerted by the outcast the others joined him and launched volley after volley of arrows that filled the sky with blackness that descended on the boat like a hail storm. The medics jumped into the water with High guardian Frozen Blade and dragged him to the shoreline. They then proceeded to counting their losses, five men had been killed in the onslaught and three remained. These remaining medics carried the high guardian to the temple of aegis where the monks took him into his care. At whispering isles a great tsunami conjured by the arch mage destroyed the town and everything in it was cast into the ocean along with a book that holds secrets. This book still remains The three remaining medics could now rest but this was momentary as a couple of outcasts had found them and charged up the steps with swords raised. The medics jumped to their feet and one of them fell as a dagger flew straight and true hitting him in his chest. The other two medics charged down the stairs to meet the outcasts head on but there skills out matched the medics and the medics soon lay dead on the ground with sword wounds across their body. The outcasts then advanced up the stairs only to meet their death as the High Guardian had awaken, the water of life and the water from the fountain of immortality combined had the strength to awaken the great one. Standing still in horror the outcasts ran for their lives but where dispatched before they could get a few yards, Daggers protruding from their backs. Bastion 7 Share Posted July 18, 2011 RP NAME: Holmes_Colonel_Bastion MC NAME: lastchance2099 YOUR FIGHTING EXPERIENCE: I have reached the highest obtainable rank of Holmes; that doesn't happen without fighting a few bandits. One of my most memorable feats, would be taking on two iron Armored Iblees supporters with only a stone sword and leather armor, and beating both of them. HOW LONG HAVE YOU PLAYED MC: I've played Minecraft for a little over a year now. HOW LONG HAVE YOU PLAYED LoC: A few weeks now, since June 22nd. WHY DO YOU THINK YOU DESERVE TO JOIN: I've been supportive of the idea since I heard about it from the start, and I think I can really add to The Lost Ones. I think my personality, and views fit pretty well with The Lost Ones ideals, and I also really like the idea of a society consisting of peace keepers, rather than the usual guard guilds. The fact that I'm head of Holmes would also be a benefit to The Lost Ones. WHAT POSITION YOU WANT TO BE IN: After carefully looking at all of the positions, I think I would be best suited for The Lost Whisperer. I enjoy progression, and fixing things, and I think I will be able to provide an insight into our goals others may not have. I understand that its a higher level position, however I have gained a lot of experience with people, and leading, in my time at Holmes, and I think I am qualified for it. OTHER INFORMATION: I am skilled in nearly everything, and a capable builder. So I will be able to help out in many many ways. I should also note, that while I am an able fighter, I somewhat dislike it, and prefer talking things out, and getting to the bottom of problems.
