Legoboy7984 2492 Popular Post Share Posted June 15, 2023 A Grand King’s Abdication It has been 27 years since I was crowned to be your Grand King. And within my tenure, we have foreseen great progress compared to the previous ruler, and with that much of the mess left behind repaired. Under my rule, we were able to make great strides in repairing the dwarven divide created by the previous administration. We were even capable of repairing many of the disrepaired relations with other nations, by resigning an overly expired alliance along with making new ones. And with those new ones, we were able to make great trade with other nations which helped us to double our treasury from what it was once I was elected. Not only this, but I was capable of keeping the promises of establishing a Hefrumm treasury, change within our King’s Council, reforms made within the voting system of our Grand Council, and above all else.. a reign of peace. One we have not held in a century. But as we have now arrived in our new city, Kal’Kadrelaz, one that has sparked some open criticism. And despite many mistruths that were recently expressed, a point was justly made. That point being, it is time for us to elect a new Grand King. Now more than ever, we need a new Grand King, one that can lead our nation in increasing our treasury once more, one that’ll bring our people even closer together in the name of Yemekar and bring forth new ideas to our Grand Kingdom. So with that, I am on this day, hereby announcing my full abdication as your Grand King. And as many of the Clan Lords have been informed by the Grand Chancellor, the nomination for Regent shall take place the next stone day by the time most meetings are held. And with that nominations for Grand King. Per my last request, I’d like to ask that the Clan Lords and whoever is made Regent, hold the election the following stone day after nominations, so that allows the appropriate time to properly have a system that will be fair for all the candidates involved. With that being said, I thank you all for granting me this opportunity to serve as your Grand King. As it was the greatest honor any dwarf could’ve asked for. Narvok oz Urguan!
