Established in the year 1932 by Calla von Theonus, The Vallagne Medical Society was founded to provide high-quality medical care to all citizens of Petra and continue to innovate in the field of medicine. At the heart of this institution are deeply dedicated physicians, surgeons, and medics who all tirelessly provide a vital service to the city of Vallagne and the entire Commonwealth of Petra. The Vallagne Medical Society is not just a hospital but a cornerstone of hope, health, and healing within the community.

 

PHYSICIANS OF VALLAGNE HIERARCHY

 

-⊰ HEAD PHYSICIAN ⊱-

The head of the hospital and doctors of Petra, overseeing the establishment with great skill and devotion. Their duties may vary throughout their time, such as policies, employment, quality care, emergency response, etc. An honorable title, only one may carry.

 

Current Head Physician: Calla von Theonus

 

-⊰ ASSISTANT HEAD PHYSICIAN ⊱-

The appointed successor to the Head Physician, this post is responsible for learning about how the hospital runs, fulfilling tasks the Head Physician cannot, and teaching medicine to beginning-level medics.

-⊰ PHYSICIANS OF VALLAGNE ⊱-

The lifeblood of the Hospital, the physicians are trained in all medicine from emergency response to surgery. It is their responsibility to tend to the public’s health.  In order to become a full physician, one must teach a class to other medics to show their knowledge.

-⊰ FIELD AND BATTLE MEDICS ⊱-

Not official physicians but still very important, field medics work with the physicians to offer care during battles and other conflicts. This is more of a contractor role than an official medic spot in the hospital, but field medics can become full physicians if they wish.

-⊰ APPRENTICES AND WARDS ⊱-

Wards and Apprentices are critical to the longevity of the Vallagne Medical Society, as bringing in new faces to lead the next generations is very important. As such, those who are too young to become physicians and those who still need to learn fall under this category.

REQUIREMENTS & OATH

 

-⊰ REQUIREMENTS ⊱-

All must take at least three classes and take a test before moving on to the next level. If one cannot make it to a class, they must advise the Head Physician or Assistant Head Physician. If one does not complete their classes within five to ten years, they shall be removed from the program.

 

-⊰ OATH ⊱-

All must take the oath in order to graduate and become a physician of The Vallagne Medical Society. They are to stand before the Head Physician, holding the banner of medicine, placing their dominant hand over their heart as they repeat the code:

 

I. I will treat, cure, and heal those who are injured.

No matter their status, name, age, or race.

 

II. I will be kind, wise, and considerate to those who are injured.

No matter how ignorant, rude, or mean one can be.

 

III. I will not deny treatment, as I wish treatment for myself.

 

IV. I will prevent illness for those who cannot protect themselves.

 

V. If I were to break the oath, I shall return back to where I started, to relearn and to regrow.

 

 

All inquiries regarding medical training and employment within the Vallagne Medical Society should be directed to the Head Physician or Assistant Head Physician.

Siriky: Looks over the text reading it all before saying "Well since my door keys no longer works it will be hard to go on two more classes, even if it seems that I got a lot more time if I'm no longer an guard over there. I still remember that someone wanted an look at my medic pal Mike that I got as I was on an class there. Maybe they will have to wait now to see them I guess."
