Leyrin 243 Share Posted February 7 THE CELIAN COURT An Insight into The Land of Stars [Published: The sixth of Snow’s Maiden, 167 of the second age] “Through a progressive collective growth flourishes from seeds sown.” The Celia’norian Courts are built upon a meritocracy, only those who have proved themselves to society through ways of politics, ambition, craft, wisdom and creativity are welcomed into the ranks of The Court of Stars. An establishment of patriots keen to support and grow the current foundations of Celia’norian society in order to protect and appreciate those who follow their own endeavours to keep the city thriving. As a buzzing hivemind, these Courtiers show great proficiency to expand on the ever-flourishing cultures of the land as well as preserving the history from which it was made. VALUES OF THE COURT “Individually we are one star, together, a constellation.” Celia’norian history is built upon reform and ambition for positive change to the lands’ inhabitants. The Court’s aim is to continue in the footsteps of their forebears, from Ivarielle’s rise, the age-old Silver Phoenix, to the collapse and rebirth of the Land of Stars for the Silver Phoenix to rise again. May the core values of the Court resonate: Patriotism, Vitality and Fidelity, and be a reminder of the strength a collective body can produce with a common goal and most of all the hope that can ignite the most lost of souls. As our history warns of inner-conflicts, stagnation and bitterness let us continue to flourish into the ever-great nation we were fated to be, united and fighting toward a common cause. A common cause to protect the people, no matter of background nor status, and strive for a thriving future. THE COURT OF STARS “Bathed in silver, I unfurl my wings, to rise again." The Court of Stars, otherwise known as the Circle of Stars, ultimately acts as the leading force of Celia’nor’s cultural growth. These selected individuals oversee the management of stewarding, festivities and promotion of community ensued upon the present Royarch’s lands. The individuals are typically highly trusted, have proven their potential and drive to achieve, and are often, if not always, chosen by the Royarch or Silver Seneschal. Each individual has been selected for their respective posts due to their suitability to the role and personal expertise. They support the Royarch in the maintenance, development and expansion of the nation, specifically in regard to culture, the arts, events and nobility as well as offer advice and opinion to the Royarch when called upon. THE SILVER SENESCHAL[Renna Py’lrie - Leyrin] This particular courtier is responsible for overseeing and holding court petitions in the Royarch’s name, maintenance of court and upholding of the palace as well as the lands surrounding it. The Silver Seneschal acts as a representative for the Royarch in the event of their absence. They are Head of the Courts as well as the Courtiers assigned within it; this includes general palace happenings, working closely with other Courtiers and the staff hired to maintain important and mundane responsibilities. It is their personal responsibility to hire members of the public to roles within the palace to keep inspiration bustling and to instigate the progression of society. THE STARLIGHT AMBASSADOR [Nefeli Py'lrie - Hopey] The Starlight Ambassador is beheld as the head of hosting foreign dignitaries, they act as a representative for Celia’norian culture as well as hosting foreign diplomats into the court. They are responsible for the correspondences created to connect and welcome nations and their own cultures through guidance of the Royarch and Silver Seneschal. This certain individual must take pride in Celia’norian society and its progression in order to maintain a reputable front to respected visitors. While, primarily they are in charge of hosting meetings and nurturing relations between foreign grandees, they are also tightly collaborative with the Seneschal. When pressing matters come forth and the Seneschal is unavailable, the Starlight Ambassador steps up to represent them as a right-hand, speaking in the Seneschal's place in order to dispel stagnation. THE LADY/LORD OF FESTIVITIES [Irelia Py’lrie - xoxoMinniexoxo] The Lady/Lord of Festivities holds a pivotal role in orchestrating all court and national events, fostering citizen engagement, and promoting tourism throughout the city. They coordinate growth and the continuation of culture within the lands of Celia’nor. This particular individual ensures a consistent schedule is maintained and incorporates the Officers of Festivities' ideas in order to encourage diversity amongst new projects and plans. THE LADY/LORD OF THE ARTS [Aiyeis - Garlic_Muncher] The Lady/Lord of the Arts serves as the facilitator of artistic and creative endeavours within Celia’nor. Internally engaging with courtiers who excel in artistic pursuits. At the forefront of her responsibilities is the establishment of standards that set the tone for the latest trends, including fashion, paintings, jewellery, craftsmanship, and more. The Lady/Lord of the Arts and their appointed Officers never fail to ensure that the Elven elegance and vibrancy of Celia’norian society is represented. OFFICE OF THE SILVER SENESCHAL THE COURT CRYPTIC The Court Cryptic is a chosen individual trusted highly by the Royarch and the Silver Seneschal. They work as an active member of court in the forefront, helping with scribing of documents, the event committee and aiding the Silver Seneschal in hiring competent citizens into the Palace. Meanwhile in the background they are tasked with gathering information on the current social happenings involving nobility and standard citizens alike, documenting misdemeanour, potential plots or secrets which have been uncovered thus reporting such straight to the Silver Seneschal and further to the Royarch themselves. The Current Court Cryptic is [Chosen] THE COURT MAGE The Court Mage promotes the correct use of the void while also warning of the negative impacts that magic can bring upon the land. This experienced mage is responsible for policing and reporting potentially malicious use of the voidal arts to the Royarch and The Silver Seneschal while also presenting the importance of magic within Celia’norian society. This is often done so by holding magic-orientated events and showcasing the awe of magic spectacle. The Current Court Mage is [Jieru- SimpPulverizer] THE COURT ALCHEMIST The Court Alchemist works similarly to the Court Mage, promoting the correct use of alchemy whilst teaching the dangers that accompany knowledge. This individual is responsible for reporting potentially malicious use of Alchemy against the people of Celia’nor as well as representing the impact of alchemy and its importance in day-to-day life. They will also aid the Courtiers in personal uses of alchemy, help to supply the Clinic with the correct herbs to treat wounded and ill and supply the Royarch with alchemical substances to aid in military advances. The Current Court Alchemist is [Erendiel - NLThomas] THE PALACE STAFF The Palace staff are tasked with working more mundane yet important duties, allowing the Council and the Courtiers the time necessary in completing their own tasks. They often assist the Court Chef in the kitchens, preparing sustenance for those within the palace or for grand events. They may also be found cleaning or tending to the interior and the gardens. Should these working individuals find other like minded members of society of similar expertise, they can refer them directly to the Seneschal to encourage a thriving workforce. OFFICE OF THE STARLIGHT AMBASSADOR THE AMBASSADOR COMMITTEE Aiding the Starlight Ambassador’s endeavours to promote positive relations with other nations, the Ambassador Committee entails individuals who seek and show interest in foreign cultures. This allows for further correspondences and connections to be made with the Starlight Ambassador’s guidance, oftentimes chosen members of the Ambassador Committee will travel to other nations as a representative to organize meetings with the Starlight Ambassador themselves. THE COURT CHRONICLER The Court Chronicler is responsible for the recording, distribution and collecting of valuable articles of writing. They act as a head to the library and ensure that books are stored safely while also keeping ledgers of current books within the library’s collection. This individual has a keen eye for the literary arts and in doing so promotes an important diversity of interest and knowledge within the library for the readers of Celia’norian society as well as tourists who seek the plethora of published copies. The Current Court Chronicler is [Ciwwyl - kuebiko_] THE COURT ASTRONOMER This particular individual is a reader of the stars, they are able to understand and appreciate the formations of constellations and their meanings. They create maps of the stars to aid sailors and explorers in their journeys and remain steadfast in their navigation. The Court Astronomer also holds events on the topic of, or during, notable celestial events to educate and celebrate particular astronomical wonders. This further ensures that an active schedule is maintained to encourage citizen engagement and solidify the community while also welcoming tourists to partake in Celia’norian culture. OFFICE OF THE ARTS THE MASTER OF THE FORGE The Master of the Forge, as the primary smith in service to the Royarch, the Royal Family, and the Council, is tasked with the forging and creation of armour, artillery, and weapons of the aforementioned. A skilled and experienced smith that promotes utility, stability and style into their work to ensure quality of product and suitability for use in combat. This particular group of individuals work hard to ensure those of the Royal House and the Courts are portrayed in finery, regality and elegance as befitting of their station. They aid in the solidity of fabric trade both internally and externally to the land as well as growing their own artistic recognition and profit.
