Goes without saying the FTB clause was added by a now permanently banned player, who despite crusading about minors and the "weirdness" of romance RP, was known to do weird shit with his Heralds on Discord (one of his Heralds who he did this to is now also banned for posting NSFW content I shall not name here in a public group chat) - all the while crusading in public group chats about how bad romance RP was.

 

If as a community everybody decides to implement this, whatever. That's on Squak, the LT, and our community to decide. But it's not preventative. If anything, you'll stop "corny" RP, but depending on who you ask several other ways Azdrazi RPly acts and behave could also be considered corny. I dropped most of what I had to say in Discord Announcements, personally not going to die on this hill, but I am going to say the Cancel Culture stuff has been getting old for a while.

TL;DR

No, it's not preventative. No, this will not eliminate people doing weird shit, it will only encourage them to take it to Discord sooner when they're doing their shit-take ways of soliciting people. You're capitalizing on the recent ban of a player who I banned as a Moderator a year ago, one who was unbanned due to failures in how Moderation interprets and handles Ban Appeals - not a "cultural" issue regarding personal RP in the community. His existence was knowingly facilitated despite his prior ban, it has nothing to do with "Romance RPers" so much as it has to do with the nonsensical "Boys Will Be Boys" rhetoric that was used to try and justify the actions of several other players by Moderation, Petran leaders at the time, and other weird sketch LoTC bureaucrats. Lmfao
