County of Silasia 276 Share Posted May 30, 2024 Brabantine - Halfling Agreement Penned, Year 183 of the Second Age By the The Shire of Dunwen and The Duchy of Brabant Diplomatic Agreements: Article I: Sovereignty a) Signatories recognise the co-signatory’s right to rule over the territory within their domains, and recognize their legitimate successors according to native laws. b) Signatories will acknowledge no legitimacy to internal actions undermining the co-signatory. Article II: Declaration of Friendship a) Co-signatories make it known to the descendants of Aevos that there exists between them a justified state of friendship, inspired by the love of Godan. b) Co-signatories agree to engage in the practice of Open Borders on land and water; never restricting access to the co-signatory for trade or travel. c) Co-signatories will engage in the practice of hosting combined events Martial Agreements: Article I: Non-Aggression a) Signatories agree to not enter pacts intent on martial aggression against the co-signatory, its borders, or its individuals. Article II: Mutual Defense a) Uses of force against either signatory will be considered an armed attack upon both territories. Economic Agreements: Article I: Free Trade a) Signatories will provide a trade stall, to be managed by the economic council of the co-signatory, free of tax for the duration of the Treaty. Article II: Resource Access a) Mines of resource in the territories of each signatory shall have access provided to chosen councillors of the co-signatory. b) Access to resource harvests during certain seasons may be restricted according to local necessity, so long as communication is given ahead of time. Territorial Agreement: Article I: Land. a) The Shire of Dunwen agrees to cede the territories in blue to the Duchy of Brabant Article II: Claims a) The signatories shall acknowledge the respective claims of each territory marked in blue for Brabant, and in yellow for the Shire. Agreements of Duration: Article I: Standard Duration a) Let these above articles be in effect for an indefinite amount of years from the date signatures are hereafter penned. b) Upon the death of either signatory, let this agreement be null and void, to be affirmed again by the successive head-of-state or left defunct.
