ARTICLE I: AUTONOMY AND ALLEGIANCE


I. The Most Serene State of Lurin recognizes the autonomous rulership of The Shiredom of Dúnwen, and recognises them as an independent, allied state.
II. The Shiredom of Dúnwen recognizes the autonomous rulership of The Most Serene State of Lurin, and recognises them as an independent, allied state. 

 

ARTICLE II: TRADE


I. Both parties dedicate to each other an available tax-free shop or stall within their capital region for the duration of the pact.
II. Access to mines located on lands of either state will be provided when requested; with the Shiredom of Dunwen permitted to grant access on behalf of the Vassal Kingdom of Frogtopia.
III. Both parties agree to fair trade, of both bulk resources and artisanal items.
IV. Minas are not necessary to trade.

 

ARTICLE III: NON-AGGRESSION


I. Aggressive action, intentional harm and overly anti-social behaviour between the persons of either state will not be tolerated. This will be resolved individually when possible, and diplomatically where not.
II. In the event of a major breach by a governing figure of either state, and said figure refuses diplomatic resolution, the right to reasonable international ruckus-causing is reserved.

 

ARTICLE IV: TERRITORIAL CLAIMS


I. Neither state shall lay claim on territories another signatory has laid claim upon.

II. In the matter of claiming land adjacent to the other state's existing occupied or claimed land, both parties must meet to discuss and agree upon this.
III. States may agree to give up a territorial claim in favour of another member having it.

IV. The Shiredom of Dunwen henceforth relinquishes claims on the Cherry Forest land which had lain between Dunwen and Lurin, previously settled by Lurin, in nature of resolving lingering dispute between figures of government who are no longer in power.

V: In the nature of fostering well-relations between citizens; The Most Serene State Of Lurin is to provide compensation for this relinquishing of claim. This is to come in the form of a single bulk payment of Lurinite product. 

 

ARTICLE V: INFRASTRUCTURE


I. Following from previous agreement, both parties agree to improve infrastructure between each realm
II. This may be done in the form of establishing new roads, bridges and providing easier modes of transport between each other’s realms.
III. Every infrastructure project will be discussed between signatories before execution.

 

 

ARTICLE VI: DURATION


I. The contract shall be in place from its first public publishing.

II. Both parties agree to uphold the contract till all find it necessary to part ways.
III. The contract will persist until formally disbanded, and will persist through changes of government leadership unless otherwise specified.
IV. If the contract is to be amended or modified, this must be done through cooperation between each State. If a new contract is to replace the existing, this shall also be the case.

VI. The modification of the contract by either state, without the consultation of the other, will be considered a breach, and subject to Statement II of Article III.
