Prior to the solemn exchange of matrimonial vows, the betrothed, in a display of fidelity to their houses and to the sovereign lands of Celia’nor, partake in a symbolic blood pact. Each slices their right hand, placing it upon their heart, pledging eternal loyalty not only to each other but also to their clans and the reigning Royarch.

 

To follow, once the ceremony reaches its zenith as the couple exchanges personally forged blades, a profound gesture embodies the Cerusil emblem of “Two Swords.” as seen in their Talonnii sigil. This act of exchanging swords signifies the ultimate trust and the intertwining of souls, binding them to protect and cherish one another as they stride forward on a path forged by destiny’s gracious hand.

 

Only after this sacred exchange aforementioned, do they proclaim, “I do,” signaling the commencement of their shared life. The Akaln’riv had been away for quite a while, rarely making an appearance. Sitting in her small house, she shifted her gaze as a servant brought her a letter. Opening it, she glanced at its contents, a grin crossing her face as she set down a makeup brush.

 

“It appears we have an event to attend,” she said, tilting her head toward the maid before wrapping the letter up again.

 

“I will finish my work soon… Bring me the finest vodka!” she exclaimed through the small house.
