Gusiam, the devilish shaman had well fallen asleep from cleaning up his anchient, century old shrine that  laid high upon the spires. His head upon the soft grass with a old rag in his palm. His dreams were, peaceful even. The warmth of summer days and energies that could only fall upon in light. He felt at peace, some very subtle and few rarities as the hounds of war cried through the night. Yet the creakings of the door within his dream was all it took, to take such peace away from him.

The eyes loomed the unmarked door, yet within such dream-like world he took soft stepped though, oh was that the mistake of the devil. To delve into the unknown without second thought behind a tired mind. However, before him was the internal wake up call of the century..

All he could felt, was the sense that he had fell. The shamans mind arised with panic and confusion, the dullness of senses, the sight turning to darkness. It was felt well before, common for the shaman yet at the same time never able to put it past him, for can never be plesent within the fall. The tumbles and turns, unnatural as the only thing he could feel was the inital fall... That, might of been the calm before the storm as the next feeling was well worse.

Pressure... Pressure as if whatever creature was playing such games was stacking mountains upon his back, the pain no doubt unbearable, yet there was a lack of sweet release. the screams offered no voice, yet all he could do was resist a futile effort, His hands near cleanched so hard  he could only imagine the black ichor that leaked out after from such pain. All such pain, unfamiliar. Yet similar.. That only made this shaman toss and turn where he could. The breathing in his lungs raspy, till that final breaking point...

Gusiam awoke, reptilian eyes darting right towards the moon in almost a inital bloodshot gaze, his hand moving to instinctively clutch not only his chest but his own palms from the lingering feeling. The huffs had been apparent after the beings inital gasp. Yet all his gaze he could do was look up, not towards the  moon, no... but what could likely be north? He can never know. Yet this was news he could not keep quiet. No, this was something that warrented investigation. Yet those eyes only now looked to his hands, and as gus departed he could only question why they were so warm?

An oracle on the path to redemption awoke with a start, the vision having overcome her within the depths of her home. Eyes widened in terror scoured the interior of her living room for company that was no longer there. Valindra fought to quell the shaking in her hands, and blinked the discomfort from her eyes. Friends and loved ones were away, enduring the unforgiving nip of the cold, yet so too did the 'aheral feel the chill of awaking in an empty room, devoid of the warmth and comfort of knowing she was protected, loved. And so, in the absence of that which she held dear, the former Barrowlord poured her time, energy and emotions into delving into the meaning of the vision. Progress; duty, it was what kept her going...

And so, after steeling her resolve, Valindra went off in search of one of her few remaining friends. She could be seen striding towards an ivory tower with a clear sense of purpose. @Llir
