A Promise for Integrity, Advancement, and a Better Tomorrow

To my fellow citizens of Hyspia,

 

I, Klaus von Berkhoven, pen to you, the people of Hyspia, my promises for INTEGRITY, ADVANCEMENT, and A BETTER TOMORROW. You all and that of the White Flame of ALMIGHTY GOTT shall be my witnesses to this promise.

 

INTEGRITY

To fulfill my promise for integrity, I shall make all my decisions and actions within the Office of Alcalde public for all to know for the sake of transparency and for the people that I was chosen to serve. 

 

I shall also work to improve the security of the state against the Fellspawn of THE DECEIVER, our most ancient of enemies, that wish to see our righteous nation fall and disappear under the sands at our feet. 

This shall be done by revising our system of vetting outsiders wishing to enter any province within Hyspian borders by creating timed intervals where we archive previous Fellspawn tests and retest outsiders via tried-and-true testing procedures; with the addition of magick-detecting equipment that will be manufactured for such processes. This will ensure that those with potentially dangerous artifacts in their possession or abilities are stopped before any harm may be done to the Hyspian citizenry.

 

The system of testing laid out may be applied to the citizenry of Hyspia, at the discretion of our Sovereigns, as well.

 

ADVANCEMENT

To fulfill my promise for advancement, I, with my many years of experience as a Masterful Alchemist and Animii Craftsman, shall promise that replacement prosthetics of Animii, built and installed by trained Alchemist-Medics, shall be free of all potential fees for those that serve within El Orden de Francisco and those pious souls of the Holy Mother Church.

To perform these duties most efficiently, my students capable of mentorship and myself shall train those with an interest in alchemical and herbal healthcare.

 

A BETTER TOMORROW

To fulfill my promise for a better tomorrow, I shall strive to develop automatons to aid in any construction, remodeling, and/or repair that is needed for the further development of the state.

Furthermore, I shall petition for a jobs board within either the square or the tavern for those looking for work to find it as it is the right of everyone to succeed in life and leave their mark on the world. Alongside this, I would establish a food bank for those that have fallen on hard times and may not have enough mina to purchase fresh produce. 

To those that have fallen on hard times, I have worn the same shoes you wear now when I was a young man and my heart goes out to you all. This is why I shall strive to establish systems that can help you reach goals that you thought were unreachable, Hyspia shan’t leave you neglected.

 

TO MY OPPONENT, SRA. KERINA MONDBLUME ( @LoxyTheReindeer )

I believe that mutual respect must remain paramount between us during this time, so I wish you luck in your own campaign for Alcalde. If either of us are to be chosen by our fellow citizens, I hope that we are able to work together on plans for the betterment of our shared home.

 

To keep fairness, I shall abstain from voting in this election so that the voice of the People is heard.

 

TO THE PEOPLE OF HYSPIA

Though I was not born of this nation, nor this continent, we call home, we share the same love in VATER GOTT and that of our community. I wish for you all to make an informed choice and vote for whichever candidate that you believe will take Hyspia into a brighter future for us all.

 

May GOTT’s White Flame guide you.

CLOSING PRAYER

LORD OF LORDS, KING OF KINGS, I come to you in prayer that this son of YOURS may be guided by the light of YOUR White Flame, VATER GOTT. Bath me in YOUR wisdom and let YOUR endless love flow through me to the people I shall willfully serve.

EXALTED HOREN, pray for me that I lead your descendants in righteousness as you had in the Holy City. May humility, as it was for you, be my guide so that I am not blinded by worldly powers.

EXALTED OWYN, pray for me that the White Flame of ALL-POWERFUL GOTT immolates my soul and purifies it to lead the flock of Hyspia in a righteous direction.

SAINT ADRIAN, pray for me that the blessing of pious statesmanship is embedded in my soul so that I may serve the LORD’s children in Hyspia and let it be VATER GOTT that guides my decisions. Let our ALMIGHTY GOTT guide me through the complexity that is politicking, and let my decisions be always for the people.
