The King of Haense set a foot into the stirrup of his horse's saddle and hoisted himself up and a leg over the mount. He spied the Daelishmen's corpses being brought out of the tunnels as he tugged on the reins and urged his stead forward. His face crumpled up into one of distaste, both for the sorry state of them even before death and for their lack of morality.

"Homeward, Haeseni. There's no more work to be done here."

Atticus finishes penning his report of the events within the Petrine palace, sealing and sending it off to the young Crown Prince, before returning to the work which had occupied much of his evening- Prayer. He was convinced now, that his refusal to conspire against the Aengul Raguel had been rewarded. His daughter was alive.

Greiret Elverhilin rides home to Valdev with the Haeseni men and women he had rode out with, a leisurely, world's easy pace now granted; and taken.

"The Daelanders now sup poisonous, sulfuric waters. They dine on rotted flesh, their souls doomed to wander brimstone and fire for all eternity. For now, they rot in hell for what has been wrought. A fate that awaits all who give in to barbarity. Their black blood shall serve more use in death than in life - to sustain the worms, to quench the soil's thirst. Wormfood. It is only my wonder if there are more who shall stoop to these lows."

"First round of Carrion is on me, friends. Race you hom-- Hey! Wrotek! You got a head start! Not fair! Hyah!"

"It was a good but long fight, got my promotion during the wait."  Aganar chuckled to himself, petting is trustful pet as a thank you for helping him in the fight before he went over the spoils.

Jarad Mah'nel, Lord Commander of the Celia'diraar would sit beside Aganar "and yet you did not believe me about my own promotion" he said nudging his follow lord commander. "Victory for the Celia'diraar and the 700 troops that road with us and the 200 that road ahead of us" he said with a hearty chuckle

The Goblin with a painted green face & a red out-fit had witnessed the 'revival' of Amelie from behind the gate.
The unnatural nature of her coming back from death left the shaman feeling quite shaken. While he never saw eye to eye with the Chancellor personally - he respected her professionally & her work.

Now he can't even do that. She's ceased being 'human' in Bon'Ox's eyes with her first breath - necromancy disguised as divine.

*Valerie, would still think her sister die. She failed to protect, what She care the most, and the scene of Amelie troat being cut, will hunt her for the rest of her Life. But after reading the missive, her hearth soft of the heavy burned.

"I failed to do what our mother asked me to do, im not suited to even called an Auclair anymore...but i thank the Lord for saving her"

2007 | Until The End
✦• ──────── •✦• ──────── •✦

The resurrected Lady-Regent, lay thence still, the gentle depositions of pyre-light,

refracted gently unto the tear-spun gleam, of her now, yet untouched cheek.

A soft breath, shuddered gently part her lips, as eyes, lidded slowly, from both end, and true night's sleep.
