[!] Missives were sent around the world.

They bore the symbol of a flaming spider with three legs curled upward and an eye within its torso.

Know this, my FORMER student—you have provoked the world with your pitiful actions, imagining yourself a herald of an unseen god. In truth, you are nothing more than a bandit, a second-rate performer. You prey on little princesses and those who cannot defend themselves. How dull! I imagine that every time you’ve met real danger, you’ve fled like the shameless coward you are, haven’t you? You are not a threat—you’re just another fish in a sea of sharks.

I faced the might of Nohr and her allies head-on, I fought the likes of alchemist warriors and Oni templars. Foes to behold and admire! I truly weave my schemes in the shadows, far beyond your comprehension. You don’t even realize it, but I’m already near—watching your every move. I know what you’ve planned, where you are, and the futile struggles you repeat daily. It’s amusing to see your followers fall, again and again, without making the slightest progress. Therefore, I must ask. . . How’s that ambition of yours working out? I hope it was worth it. KAKAKAKA!

And then, you made your gravest error: you tried to betray me. While I slumbered, you sought to stab me in the back. Even then, you failed. You even tried to steal what was mine—and failed again. How pathetic! I taught you better than this. Also, I’m not even outraged at your betrayal; I’m just disappointed in how poorly you’ve gone about it. Foolish, foolish Thorim. A phony, a charlatan! Scholar of nothing, teacher of imbeciles! Lord of Bones? More like Lord of Chalk!

Nevertheless, you are fortunate that I am merciful. I don’t waste my time hunting creatures smaller and weaker than myself. You are a nuisance, nothing more. But heed my words and keep this thought in your stunted, short-legged mind:

Should you tread upon the lands of the Horde and its allies, attempting to sway our ranks AGAIN or attack our allies, you will be struck down again and again. The world already stands against you. Do not challenge me, for if you do, it will not just be your ambition that fails—you will lose your entire coven. Shirunai is gone and you are insulting his honor like this. My patience has its limits!

The Kuruibi Horde still lives. STAY GONE LOSER!

By yours truly, The Spider.

P.S. I hate you Thorim. You are making

me agree with the xionists I want to end myself.

Blackheart swipes the blood of his aurum mask's visor after the bloody battle of the Hangman's Tree, standing on the countless dead bodies of royal knights a crow delivers him this letter.

"Curious."

The letter was thrown onto the battleground as the painful screams of remnants being eaten alive echoed throughout the plains

Victor did eye the massive from his old foe, pouring through it.

"'Lord of Chalk' goes pretty 'ard as far as insults go."

He wondered when the diss-tracks would go out, as he scrolled up the parchment, and carried on his hunt.

[!] Victor would receive a letter from an undead-looking bird. For one reason or another.

Dear Ser Victor Rorin,

How have you been? I hope you’ve been keeping well, eating properly, and staying in good spirits! It’s been quite some time since we last met. Truthfully, I’ve grown a bit bored of bickering with pompous, bearded little men or demons whose egos somehow surpass my own. Soon, I intend to organize a little gathering—a meeting where we, and perhaps a few others, can face one another in combat. It should be entertaining, don’t you think? Take care, Ser Victor Rorin—my enemy, my rival. Be there, or risk being deemed utterly silly! Even a goofy goober, if I'm in a bad mood. <3

Your best enemy forever, Igarashi Jorogumo, more known as The Spider. Even Smilebone nowadays :3

The note was forwarded to a Barrowlord,

@Xergarok

"Perhaps we should reconsider denying them. . ."

Victor took the missive and did unscroll it, seeing that familiar, age-old three legged spider, a symbol of chaos.

He'd eye the bird as it flapped it's wings, stepping off of his horse quickly. The ranger-knight's form swept down quickly, lifting up... a brick! He'd focus upon the departing, flying messenger, and with a sharp inhale, would heave the brick after the winged messenger.

Do undead birds squak? Who is to say. But loose bones did clatter from their heights to the dirt below.

"Blocked."
