However, the history of their people had gone lost to time. As was discussed with his kin, they would begin to document whatever they could.

A PROJECT, A PURPOSE

As it was agreed upon in the Ashen Union, they would thrive to preserve their culture and protect them from outside influences. This is a call for knowledge, a call to document all that has become lost to time, a call to preserve the past, so that we may use it to build up the future.

 

DOCUMENTATION

The Union aims to establish a library of Maehr history, located in the Ramasarian Underdark in the Princedom of Cauróst. All books provided to us will also be shared with the library of Cauróst. The originals, to be kept by the Ashen Folk themselves. Further, will the Union also begin to employ writers to help fill in the gaps in our history that are not documented in writing, but only through stories of bygone eras.

 

To do such, we are also calling upon any and Maehrzh who have information on the following:

• The history of our kin at the start of Aevos, until the fall or Nor’Velyth
• The history of our kin in Almaris
• The history of our kin in Arcas
• Documents relating to older Maehr cultures and Clans
• A list of all existing Clans
• Document the various religious groupings of our kin

AN AGREEMENT - չαʊᵲʊռɦ¤

In order to strengthen the cooperation between scholars,  Iussus Discipulus do agree to work together on this project. They agree that, should any book relating to the history of the Ashen Folk come into their possession, they will grant the original copy of such to the Ashen Union instead. In return, the Ashen Union will also share its knowledge with the library directly. Any books that are directly handed to them, will be copied to further complete the library. Any books to come into our possession that are not related to Maehryl history, will be copied for the Union, the original handed over to the Iussus Discipulus.

 

In addition, all Maehr signatories below are tasked with working on this project directly for the Union. They agree that any books they do find, are to be handed to Aytheln Vel’obv for storage in the Underdark, until a library has been constructed there.

 

THE CALL - ӄɛɛʅ

For this reason, the Ashen Union calls out to the scholars of Aevos. If you have any books, or information on the history of our kin, send a letter out so that we may properly document this. To build up the future, we must learn of the past. So that the Ashen Folk may avoid the same mistakes that have led them down a path of darkness, so many times before. Regardless of race or political affiliation, we call upon all of you to aid our cause.
