CRIMES COMMITTED:

Failure of Paternal Duty (Canon Law: Book II, Title I)
Estevot raised his family in the heathen realm of Vortice, a nation known for its false idolatry and it's alliance to those whom practiced dark magics, during the Robertsine Crusade. His failure to build his house on Canonist teachings is a violation of the obligations of all faithful.

Blasphemy and Sedition (Book V, Title II, Chapter 1)
Estevot has repeatedly blasphemed against the Church, promoting the belief that the abominations such as Kharajyr and devil-spawn are equal to that of man. He has incited contempt against the clergy and publicly allied with enemies of the Church.

Oathbreaking
Expelled from the Order of Saint Jude for the violation of holy vows and dereliction of duty.

Heresy and Schism (Book V, Title II, Chapter 2)
Fought alongside excommunicated and heretical forces in both the Robertsine Crusades and the current Holy War, thus incurring automatic excommunication.

Participation in Forbidden Rites (Book V, Title II, Chapter 4)
Estevot resided in the druidic Vale of Naevelhen, where false rites are practiced, and no Canonist temple stands—placing his soul, and that of his family, in danger.

Disobedience to Ecclesiastical Authority
Disobeyed orders from the Auditor during the devil-spawn decree, refusing to execute those marked for death. Furthermore, he has misused his military authority to protect abominations such as Devil-Spawn, and the Kharajyr. Further obstructing the justice of the Church.

Violation of the Covenant of Purity
By defending unnatural beings and aiding the impure, Estevot has broken the Covenant sworn by Prophet Owyn, promoting impurity among the Sons of Horen.

Let it be known to all Canonist faithful that Estevot Heymor is a danger to the Church, a betrayer of oaths, and a defender of heresy. He must be brought to justice. Turn him in to Chaptermaster Vincenzo of the Order of the Grail of Saint Lucien and receive 500 minas in reward.

Jadelynn frowns at the missive she was happy she left him when she did. Sadly she could not divorce him and she could only pray that taking herself and two children away from him be enough to live in peace. She still feared people would hurt her or her two children so disappearing was all she could think of doing right now.

Estevot's headless body hung limply from a crucifix off the road from Vortice and Salvo. His shirt and the ground were now soaked in his blood from the stab to his chest, and despite the visceral image, he looked entirely at peace. A blood-soaked letter poked out of his shirt, the last letter his wife ever sent him. Now it might be the last thing she'll ever have said to him.

A lone monk prays at the foot of Estevot's cross. He prays for his soul, that of the warrior who defended his rights to the last. Finishing his prayer, he stood and returned to the Mountain Temple where he lived.
