Ever's ADVENTURE! Journal [UPDATED! 10/28]

(( I wanted to make a daily-updated adventure journal type thing. Sometimes weird stuff happens to me and I'd like to share it. You have to go to the different posts throughout this thread to find more entries. I can only add so many pictures to one post, regardless of spoilering them.))

You notice a small leather bound book laying on the ground. You look around momentarily before picking it up. The cover is plain, except for a crude 'E' etched into the middle. You flip open the cover to read (which is rather hard, due to all the ale stains) the following text:

"Allo! I'm Ever and I'm wondering why yer readin' this. Mebbeh I lost this book like tha others. In that case, go ahead 'n keep it. Maybe you'll enjoy readin' about me adventures like I enjoyed havin' em."

You sigh, shrug, then flip to the next page.

ENTRY ONE

Today was a successful day I'd say. I was feelin' a bit restless so I figured it'd be a good day to go on one o' my drunken adventures. I locked up the shop, said bye to me pooch, grabbed a bunch o' signs, 'n headed out. Didn't see many others along the way, though. I ended up at that big sandystone buildin', I thinksh they call it tha FoA base? Or sumfin like that? I 'unno. I remembered I had built a FAO (Forward Ale Outpost) right outside a small likkle undead village. I took a small rest inside, 'n when I awoke I had some visitors!

They were some strange fellas, I give ya that. Gave me sum good melon though! 'n then they said some really weird stuff. Like I had a sexy beard. Of course I already knew that, but it was kinna strange gettin' told that by some strangers. It's a good beard though, grew it myself!

They probably knew why I was out here though. See, I know they got a huge ale deposit, deep down in one o' their storage centers. There's a big ol' tower, right behind the village. I know it's a brewery, regardless o' what they're tellin' me. I stayed at my FAO fer a few minutes, then headed towards the direction they ran off to. I had to be sure if they were checkin' on their ale deposits or not...

A couple o' minutes later a band o' dwarves showed up. Next thing I knew we were jush havin' a big ol' party full o' singin n' melons. No ale though. (They din't want to give up their location, I know it.) Everyone left soon after, though. Last thing I remember wush lookin' at the pretty lavawater 'round their brewery, then wakin up inside The Temple wif a singed beard. Guesh I was still drunk from earlier or sumfin...

Anyways, I made the long trek back to me FAO 'n was lookin' through me chest when I heard someone outside. It was a gift unlike any other. Didn't catch their name, so I plan on callin' em the Kind Stranger. The KS gave me a whole bucket o' ale 'n a diamond sword! KS told me ta keep safe, so I heeded their warnin' n' headed out back 'ome.

((Sorry for not havin' a proper screenshot at this time. I didn't even remember taking a screenshot of this but I figure it'd be dumb not to include it.))

Not much more happened today, besides the drinkin' o' some much needed ale.

ENTRY TWO-a

Today I took a visit to one o' me favorite places in Aegis: The Ender Ale Brewery. Unlike other breweries which are surrounded by lava, this ones surrounded by water and actually has ale.

I've been here a few times before, usually with me mate Crinkz.

Real shwell place though. Now if there was only free ale samples...

I got a nice look at one o' the brewin' machines from the inside. There was no way out, it was far too high fer me to climb. It looked like the end...until I saw a pigman standin' on the roof. I hadn't any idea how he managed to get up there, but I called out to 'im to help me. He oinked at me then fell off the roof. Ohohoh, I love dem guys. Always crackin' me up 'n wut not. I wonder if they drink ale. What was I sayin' again? Oh yea, so I'm stuck in this machine right? But then I realize that if I jump, I can just reach the edge! Oh what a lovely day so far.

I left the brewery goin' west...or north or south I forgot, it was one o' them directions. I came across this tall, thin, burnin fellow. I had a bucket o' water on me so I threw it on him, to try 'n put em out, ya know? Next thing I know he's a big ol' fireball. Set me beard on fire! He ran off through tha woods. Hope he made it out okay...

I kept on with me aleventure (that's an ale-induced adventure, I'll have ya know) and came across this likkle jumpin-test thingy. It looked simple enough mates, but I'll tells ya that it was just impossible. I must've fallen a hunn'red times, right inna water.

But finally...

I also found this library. Mabbeh I should write a book...maybe even a journal or sumpfin. I could call it me adventure journal...wait...

'N then I found this garden. It wush lovely! Bunch o' good smellin' flowers 'n trees 'n stuff. It could only be better if there was an ale fountain...

Hmm...what did that sign say back there? Don't pick the flowers?

ENTRY TWO-b

Ohohoh, that's right mates! I'm bad.

Jush kiddin'! Couldn't bring meself to ruin such a lovely garden.

Sometime later I came across this lovely little tavern. Hadn't been here before so I was really lookin' forward to it.

But...but it was closed, mates... ((You think you can make out tear drops on the paper))

Oh well. I guess I'll just have ta make a stop back when its open. But that's all fer now, gotta try 'n find me way back home now...

((I can only add so many pictures per post, which...REALLY sucks. I dunno. I don't like to spam this thread with my own posts but I'll see what I can do about that.))
