HEED, LEAL SONS OF HOREN;

. . . and have it be known by our Imperial Writ that the Margravial House of de Senna is henceforth, in perpetuity through the will of the Crown, released of all vassal obligations and oaths of peerage to the Emperor of Man and the House of Horen. As a consequence, the title of the March of Mount Santa Lorina is put into abeyance.

The House of de Senna is therefore leaving the wings of the Dragon of Horen in good standing and with commendation for their exemplary service since the foundation of the Empire, and are free to relocate their House and be enfeoffed titles in other polities within Imperial vassals at their discretion.

May the Lord’s Flame keep and guide them in their paths, whatever they may be.

AVE IMPERIUM!

Ser Leif Ąžuolas had watched his father build up House de Senna from the sidelines during his training in Numendil, proud of what he had accomplished, despite his conflicting views towards him growing up. "A new beginning awaits them, it seems..." A smile found the Knight from the comfort of Silasia's library. "I shouldn't be surprised, it's in their nature to be reborn, but still I shall help wherever I can should they call for such."

A satisfied look spread across Valeria von Leopold's face as she read the missive. With the last of her family's persecutors gone, she let out a sigh of relief. "God has punished our enemies for their sins, and rewarded us for our piety and our faith. At last, our house may be at peace."

Edgar looks upon the missive with curious glee in his eyes despite having lost his title he doesn't seem upset instead a small smile perks on his burnt visage "Peace, and new beginnings. . . Perhaps things will be better with this weight off our shoulders" he inhales sharply and sighs releasing any stress he had built.

"Ah, another change..." Edith ponders, head tilted - though slightly grateful that she wasn't effected by this development. "Eh- knowing Lorena there's a plan in mind. Time will tell,"

This didn't, however, mean the woman was any less confused.

"Perhaps I ought to speak with Lorena though..."

Her younger sister quickly came into the room with a bottle of wine.  "Time to crack open Mutter's good vintage for the occasion."

Helena knew something had occurred - not quite what. She woke to far too much commotion in their house, in the middle of the night. Something about treason, and death. Whose, but their daughter's, their heir's. She recalled holding Lorena's tiny hand as she walked her through Lemon Hill for the first time. How cold they must be, now.

She sat back, and took a long, shaken breath. The Novellen lapsed back into her smoking habit that night, and sitting in a cloud of tobacco smoke, held her head in her hands. "Aurelia, Augustus, Lorena," Helena mumbled. "Never dropped the last two on their heads, or drank during my pregnancies ..." -- "Why have none of them come out anything more than faechking disappointments? God," she wept, alone for at least a brief time that night.

"John, perhaps I ought to have died with you."

And she sat there, alone, waiting until her only solace - her husband - would return.

Francesca knew something was up when the moment she left her house, she was summoned to the Archanellor's office by the very man in question- her father.

The hours drawled on far too slowly, anxiously- like a slow, poisonous death. She awaited answers, decisions... as her father slept, an effort to regain the strength to face such a monumental problem.

Same old energy baby, history repeats
Same old energy baby, they'll march you through the streets

Thus was the tune uttered in her distress
