I am in search of a tinker, to assist in the design and creation of an unusual instrument.
 

I require something which will work like a hurdy-gurdy, piano and clarinet all rolled into a single, mobile musical instrument. 

The device must be tuneable, with the ability to manually and reactively change pitch, tempo and - if possible - volume, all controlled by a single operator. That is to say, this instrument must be playable, and cannot be constrained to the pre-ordained medleys like a simple music box.

 

The successful artisan will be able to work with durable materials, suited to significant wear and all kinds of weather.
