“With the eagles farsight, we reign victorious!”

It is with a heavy heart that I, Alexandria Vuiller, surrender my position and duties as Head of House Vuiller and Countess of Aquilae to my eldest son, Beanyx Hans Vuiller. Due to my failing health of mind, and my diminishing strength and conviction, I am no longer able to continue bearing the torch of the Countess of Aquilae. For these reasons, and others, I place my trust in my son, confident that in time he will lead our House in a manner that honors the legacy, history, and traditions of our family.

May GOD guide us all in a life of Righteousness and Honor.

Signed

His Excellency, Beanyx Hans Vuiller, Count of Aquilae, Patriarch of House Vuiller

Dona, Alexandria Vuiller

"The children are babies?" Sybille asked aloud, more curious than anything else as she regarded the missive on one of her many trips to Perduran.

Aelyn Greye was overseeing the construction of Nor'Velel when a bird swooped down, landing on his shoulder to hand him the missive.

"Huh, what is this?" he muttered to himself before opening and reading its contents, his eyes widening in surprise. He knew this was inevitable, given the circumstances he was told about recently. Aelyn had never hated the Ex-Countess as some would lead one to believe, but it stung a little seeing someone he considered a friend step down.

"This is going to be troublesome..." The Maehr then went home, kneeling in prayer as he wished for the Heir and Alexandria's safety in the years to come.

Edith, though having not seen the missive herself, hears the news directly from her cousin herself. Opinionless on the matter of stepping down, all she can utter is a simple string of words...

"Shame on you, Adrian. Dishonorable, even. Shame."

And so would Edith continue on her merry way, faster than usual as she really hated the cold.
