Following the renovations of Little Lorraine, the var Vigo brothers moved their belongings into their renovated home. Mid-winter blues made them question all the things they hoarded, and Gennad, being only semi-literate, suggested throwing out their books. In the bin went treatises on history and compendia of theses from the church, but his brother seized one from the pile - evidently a written record of their family history…!

 

Gathered around, Jannis, the younger (and more literate) of the two, looked on in awe. The truly grand mustache of younger var Vigo flops around as he blows the dust off the ancient tome to reveal the incredibly faded words - the brothers var Vigo hardly could believe what they spelled! As they look upon the family tree with widened eyes, an air of triumph would wash over them, these nouveau riche upstarts eager to lay claim to a storied history!

 

“We must call for the others to join us, for our claim is true!” Gennad, the elder, would call out!

Lo there far and wide, and heed with great interest our discovery! House var Vigo has proof of descent from Saint Andrik Vydra himself, and must insist on its own claim to the Duchy of Akovia!

 

We insist to our partners and the masses to come see us in Rittersburg, and for our relatives, no matter how distant, to find us without delay! We will be lobbying in the courts for recognition of our lineage - we have already great resources available to us, which we will bring to lever!

For a moment Pius, a half-illatian and good business partner of Gennad, wondered how such a scheming, liar, borderline terrorist and completely crazy man could just learn that he had blue royal blood running through his veins.

And for another moment he doubted its legitimacy... But then he remembered that you do not doubt allies, instead, you make sure they have all necessary bombs to make sure no one is capable to deny their claims!
