DENOUNCEMENT OF SEÑOR DOMINIGO

Señor Dominigo,

Hola, sorry for not replying; I was enjoying the open sea before your arrogance crossed my mind once more and ruined the moment. It was not until your own letter addressing Señor Helfgott that I heard naught of your name, nor that of those that came after Inigo Andres Manuel Matviy. The records show no descendancy of Inigo and Ornella, with the last mention of your purported line being the passage of Inigo in 114 D.R., so your claims are shaky at best, and falsified at worst. There are those that wish that the Hypsian Throne were theirs, so false claims are not unusual for usurpers; especially for a family that has fallen into silence as mine has. Tragically for you, pretender, the Kingdom has been dissolved for decades now; myself never knowing the luxuries of a royal.

The fact you dare use mí familia’s sovereign coat of arms tells me you disrespect and are ignorant of the treaty of surrender, pinned to this missive, that was made between Hyspia, Númendil, now Idunia; and those of the Church and Holy League. You put mí familia in complete danger just by using that coat of arms.

You insult mí abuela and believe she ruled when Hyspia fell, no, she was not the one who led Hyspia into the War of the Crown and Crozier. In fact, she had abdicated the throne the day before any allegiance was given to the Horenic Covenant. The architect of that allegiance? Crown-Princess Amarantha, who declared herself Queen without the blessing of the Holy Mother Church. I am not of her blood, I am the son of Princess-Royal Cataleya, grandson of Queen Xiomara I, great-grandson of Crown-Princess Santana, two times great-grandson of Sovereign Ramona I, three times great-grandson of Viceroy Cesar II, four times great-grandson of Viceroy Francisco I, and five times great-grandson of Viceroy Cesar I. The blood of all these great De Pelears run through my veins and I will not have you diminish my claim. 

 

ACHIEVEMENTS OF QUEEN XIOMARA I

Moreso, you arrogant fool, I will enlighten you on why mí abuela has gone down in history as Queen Xiomara “The Golden”:

• Rose to the Sovereign Throne of Hyspia at the age of only eight summers, receiving no assistance with governance from a Regent.
• Revitalization of the Hyspian Military, El Orden de Francisco.
• Revitalization of the Hyspian Noble Class.
• Introduction of the Hyspian Gentry Class.
• Purged all Darkspawn within Hyspia’s borders.
• Pushed for the Sanctification of Saint Francisco and succeeded.
• Brought Hyspia into a Golden Age of life and bustle.
• Elevated to the status of Queen by the Holy Mother Church; therefore the territory becoming the Kingdom of Hyspia.

 

And this is just a few of the many things mí abuela accomplished as Queen of Hyspia and her blood runs through my veins. Additionally, within the surrender treaty, of which it is painfully obvious that you have not read, it reads that Queen Xiomara “The Golden” will be regarded as “...the first and last coronated Queen of Hyspia...”

DISOWNMENT OF SEÑOR DOMINIGO

Therefore, as the trueblood Stallion of de Pelear and its truest inheritor by blood and birthright, I denounce and disown you, Señor Dominigo; labeling you a pretender and usurper, and permanently take the name of this storied Casa away, whose tales and history you are ignorant to. I will not honor you with even a surname, as that would be too kind for the insult you have shown to me and mí familia.

Continue using the name of mí familia in your signature and you will find your throat at the tip of my blade, señor. Mí abuelo, Ser-King Julian “The Volatile”, and the seas have taught me to not tolerate such arrogance and ignorance to mí familia’s name and history. YOU will come to ME in the flesh, if you wish to challenge the birthright I possess to the Casa de Pelear.

Furthermore, unrelated to the premise of the promulgation of this document, but relevant to the matter. Amarantha I de Pelear remains excommunicated, and thus any of her issue are not able to legitimately inherit titles as Amarantha remains ineligible for the sacrament of marraige. Unlike the other leaders of states who made efforts to approach the Mother Church and return themselves to communion, Amarantha had never made such an attempt. Let this stand as a reaffirmation of her sustained excommunication.

Holy Fathers,

Hola, it warms my soul to know that my missive has reached the desk of the Cardinal Du Loc and to heard that the terms of treaty are still being adhered to all these decades later.

I had grown up under the tutelage of Queen Xiomara "The Golden" and Ser-King Julian "The Volatile," and with that they embedded a deep respect for the Holy Mother Church and its decisions. It is admirable and humbling that penance is still being offered to the line of my excommunicated tia. Should there be any penance that the current mainline of De Pelear, via the line of Princess-Royal Cataleya, need to carry out, please do let me know; we can arrange a time to meet and discuss the specifics of such.

Additionally, I would be honored to have either or both of your blessings to be recognized as the true, inarguable head of De Pelear, but that can be discussed after any given penance.
