On the Nature of Mechanikas

Mechanikas is lawfully bound beneath the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Norland, and subject to its Crown and Codified Authority.

 

We are:

• scholars and artisans devoted to invention and alchemical technology,
• practitioners of sanctioned arcane-mechanical research,
• and participants in a shared culture wherein augmentations and prosthetics are held as sacred rites of passage.

 

Among them, family, function, and the union of flesh with machine are values held paramount.
Within Mechanikas stands the Iron Choir, a sanctified martial order of augmented warriors, whose discipline echoes the rhythms of their faith—living testaments to the convergence of soul, alloy, and war.

 

Their oath, training and service does not diminish their worth, nor does their craft exempt them from Law.

On Eligibility for Service

 

• Any individual of sound function or mind, whether of flesh, alloy, or composite origin, may present themselves for consideration into Mechanikas military service.
• All candidates must be capable of understanding, obeying, and upholding the Laws and Ordinances as codified within the Tenet Book
• No distinction shall be made on the basis of origin alone; however, failure to comply with Norland and Mechanikas Law shall constitute grounds for immediate rejection or dismissal.

On Oath and Allegiance

• All recruits, upon acceptance, shall swear a binding Oath of Allegiance to the Crown of Norland and its lawful institutions
• Said oath is to be recognized as absolute and irrevocable for the duration of service.
• Automaton and animii units shall be subject to core-alignment verification, ensuring continued conformity with Lead Mechanist and Alchemist authority, obligation, and lawful conduct.

On Conduct and Discipline

• Soldiers are bound to maintain discipline, restraint, and lawful behavior at all times, both in and out of deployment
• Acts of insubordination, unlawful violence, unauthorized innovation, or deviation from sanctioned orders shall be prosecuted in accordance with the Tenet Book
• Descedants and Automaton alike are equally accountable under Mechanikas and Norland Law, without privilege or exception.

On Purpose of Service

The Iron Choir military service exists for the preservation of order, the enforcement of law, and the defense of the Kingdom of Norland and our land itself

No soldier serves for personal ambition, profit, or excess, but rather as an extension of Mechanikas Will and lawful mandate.

Let it be understood that the Tenet Book neither favors nor condemns origin—only conduct.
Steel and flesh stand equal beneath the Law.
