Hello. The lukewarm 1.21.11 update is here and I have been maddeningly stress-testing my personal modpack for the past few days in preparation for the public release. Unfortunately, I am a misanthrope playing Minecraft as a hobby and so cannot empathize with hardware limitations; if your computer sputters while using this modpack just remove the particle mods. It should be obvious, but INSTALL FABRIC. Hopefully I don't give anyone malware - please let me know if so.

[ Immersion Mods]

 

	3D Skin Layers	Renders the Player Skin Layer in 3D.
	Better Clouds	Adds beautiful, custom clouds that enhance the vanilla experience.
	Boat Item View	View your held items while sitting in a moving boat.
	Effectual	Adds atmospheric effects and decorative particles.
	Falling Leaves	Enables leaf particles to gently fall from visible leaf blocks.
	Lamb Dynamic Lights	Torches, Lanterns, etc. emit light while in a Player’s hand.
	N.E.A.	Adds upon and improves the animations of the Player in 3rd person.
	Particle Rain	Rehauls weather with unique effects. A must have for Storm Island RPers.
	Particular Reforged	Enhances Minecraft’s ambience with hand-crafted visual effects.
	Tightfire	Makes fire render on half-slabs and fences [i.e. will not float in the air].
	Voxy	A less resource intensive Distant Horizons. Uses LOD to gain infinite render distance.

 

Notes

• Better Clouds is currently suffering an error where they do not seem to generate on Azuras because we use custom biomes. I do not know the fix for this currently.

• How to Maximize Particle Rain Mist Ambiance:

1. Escape → Mods → Particle Rain

2. Mist After Rain → Click ON → Edit . . . → When to Spawn: During Weather

3. Block List . . . → Add New x4 as follows EXACTLY → #minecraft:concrete_powder → minecraft:gravel → minecraft:blackstone → minecraft:water

 

[Gameplay Mods]

 

	Appleskin	Adds various Food-Related HUD improvements.
	Better Mount HUD	Enables the Player to see the hunger bar in addition to their Mount’s HP.
	Command Keys	Binds command hotkeys, e.g., /walk & /sneak.
	Freelook	Hotkey that enables a 360 view of your character [Hold or Toggle] [Not Freecam].
	JourneyMap	A map mod with a World Map and Mini Map. Can group and organize Waypoints.
	Logical Zoom	Press C [or relevant keybind] to zoom your camera in.
	ViaFabricPlus	Permits backwards connection to outdated Minecraft Servers.
	WorldEdit GUI	Provides a client side user interface for WorldEdit.
	XPlus Autofish	Automatically reels in and recasts fishing rod when a fish is caught. Do NOT AFK.

 

Notes

• JourneyMap has player entity radar. Disable it for fair play lest you risk obliteration by the Mod Team. You can customize your Minimap in the Map Menu.

• Command Keys is super useful for ST during events, or for other repetitive commands in game. Don’t be a moron and use this to hot-key halt emotes.

 

[UI + Quality of Life Mods]

 

	Auto HUD	Dynamically hides interface elements when not active.
	Better Ping Display	Displays the true numerical ping of players in the tab list.
	BetterF3	Replaces Minecraft’s F3 HUD with a highly customizable, color-coded HUD.
	Blur+	Blurs and darkens the background of the game when entering the inventory or settings.
	Controlling	Adds the ability to search for keybinds using their name in the Controls menu.
	Dark Loading Screen	Makes the Minecraft loading screen dark.
	Fast IP Ping	Skips the loading time to test Server IPs when looking at the Server List.
	Immersive Hotbar	Adds animations to the hotbar to make it more immersive.
	Immersive UI	Makes interacting with items in the inventory more “flashy”.
	Mod Menu	Provides a list of your installed mods and enables the tweaking thereof.
	Not Enough Crashes	Returns the Player to the Main Menu in the event of a crash.
	SmoothGUI	Adds a smooth animation to GUI interfaces.

 

Notes

• Spend the time using Controlling and Mod Menu to adjust your mod settings and keybindings . You will have many overlapping controls and will be frustrated unless you sort them out.

 

[Writing Mods]

 

	Emoji Type	Enables the insertion of custom emojis via a colon hotkey, e.g. :swirl → ꩜
	D.I.C.T.	Disables warning toasts about connecting to servers without enforcing secure chat.
	More Chat History	Increases the length of chat history from 100 messages to 16,384.
	No Chat Reports	Strips cryptographic signatures from player messages.
	Scholar	A book mod that lets you see two pages at a time, and enables high quality text editing.
	Stendhal	A book writing interface that stacks with Scholar. Can be used to copy signs in-game.

 

Notes

• As stated above, Scholar and Stendhal can be installed at the same time. Scholar takes priority. To edit books, highlight the text, and then format. You may need to enable this in mod options. Stendhal remains good for copying signs and clicking on emojis.

• Emoji Type can be used to store multi-character Emojis or foreign script. You can disable the ones you don’t want in Mod Options.

 

[Performance Optimization Mods]

 

	BadOptimizations	Helps to optimize the game with things other than rendering.
	Connectivity Mod	Helps to support server connection issues.
	Cull Leaves	Adds culling to leaf blocks, providing a huge performance boost over vanilla.
	Entity Culling	Hides tiles and entities that are not currently visible.
	FerriteCore	Reduces memory usage in Minecraft.
	ImmediatelyFast	Speeds up and optimizes immediate mode rendering in Minecraft.
	Krypton	Optimizes the minecraft networking stack and entity tracker.
	Lithium	Optimizes Minecraft and makes performance improvements.
	More Culling	Changes how multiple types of culling are handled to improve performance.
	R.S.O.	Replaces Sodium’s options screen with something that is more user-friendly.
	ScalableLux	Rewrites the light engine to fix lighting performance and lighting errors.
	Sodium	A powerful rendering engine that greatly improves frame rates and micro-stutter.
	Sodium Extra	Adds additional features that are not in base Sodium.
	S.S.P.B.	Introduces vanilla-like smooth lightning to path blocks in Sodium.

 

[Resource + Shader Pack Mods]

 

	E.M.F.	Expansion of the ETF mod and adds support for OptiFine custom entity model packs.
	E.T.F.	Adds support for Resource Pack driven features for entity textures.
	IRIS Shaders	A modern shader that is compatible with OptiFine shader packs and Sodium.
	No R.P. Warnings	Disables the scary red warnings from “outdated” Resource Packs.
	OptiGUI	Adds custom GUI textures on Fabric and adds custom GUI Resource Pack support.
	Polytone	Enables Resource Packs to use custom colors.
	Respackopts	Adds configuration menus for compatible Resource Packs.
	Skyboxify	Enables the use of OptiFine skyboxes in Sodium.
	VTDownloader	Enables changes to Vanilla Tweaks in-game and can upload them directly to the client.

 

Notes

• Not every IRIS shader is compatible with Voxy. I have included some of my favorites.

• Not every Skybox will successfully port over to Sodium, even with Skyboxify. I have included some of my favorites.

	AmbientSounds	Expands Minecraft’s audio with myriad natural sounds. (Creative Core)
	Presence Footsteps	Adds unique footstep sound effects to minecraft.
	S.P.R.	Provides realistic sound attenuation, reverberation, and absorption through blocks.

I will inevitably get questions asking “Where is Figura?” and “Where is Advanced Chat?”; I do not like them. They frighten and disturb me. The pit of madness I’ve seen it pull noble souls into is deep, and only the strongest have managed to remain tasteful with these mods. However, I have been encouraged by Megavoltar to entrust the playerbase into acting responsibly with these mods. Please do not abuse these.

 

 

[Optional Dangerous Additions]

 

	Figura	Adds “bones” and jiggle physics to your minecraft character.
	Advanced Chat	Adds 5 additional chat screens to your client to obstruct your vision.
