I thought it was not gonna be me... but the decaying temple pathway fell out from under me and now I'm in the spiders web fighting in this arena endlessly now, an elf and a dwarf I think came in after to to help. The elf help me up and tended my wounded feet. but now we climb up looking for a way out and fending off the horde of cave spiders.

Aye, tis true. I also shared the same fate. The Verge is a dangerous place, I think people should stay out o' it.

Hur hur ja pinkskins shud take an orcsie wit ja next time!

Perhaps I will. Then i could use its brute strength to toss me up and out, or just use its towering stature to climb off of. Jokes aside I just may have had better luck with an Orc down there with the rest of us. Thanks for the advice

Yes the Verge is a very dangerous place after living in a civilized Aegis for so long. Daylight doesn't even offer safety in some parts because of the dense canopy and the ground is cracked in so many places.

I fell into that pit with adventure being my purpose. That was a mistake! At least I escaped and explored the rest of the abandoned temple. It is quite interesting. I am curious as to what the chain motif that I have seen symbolizes. I was disappointed to find that the massive library within the temple was completely empty leaving no clues as to who this culture was.

I was also disappointed with the lack of undamaged literature ((0 books)). I found in a chamber up some stairs a single book case, it seemed so significant yet... no knowledge was gained

Aye, it is a shame. ((I was really sad when I found the empty library XD)) I have explored a significant amount of the area beneath the cracked ceiling, but the darkness is too thick and there are too many enemies for one person to search for very long. I doubt that exploration would yield any information though; the former inhabitants of this island have left us nothing but ruins.

Aeriel (Gms) gave them additional strength (steroids)

There WILL be explorations being made soon. We will not underestimate the force of the monsters and will enter the lower levels of the tower well guarded. Some interesting discoveries have already been made, but findings remain inconclusive.

Are ye sure Aeriel is the one givin them strength? This feels more like the work of Iblees.
