I feel that this shouldn't be required, but someone should step up to it. I believe that someone at some point should have an application that states they have the ambition of becoming a teacher. One pebble would fall, causing the avalanche, and thus a school is born; bringing many rp joys and benefits.

So yeah: good concept, but debatable delivery.

I can see where you are coming but how long do you think that would take? And Elindor seems like his char likes to teach people. And i think i can teach some classes of history ;) So i counter yours and say how long it would take! :D

School were made when in the Renascence, when there were less wars and more intelligence. It doesn't seem like an appropriate time right now.

I think some schools make sense, but it depends on the character. People who intend to be guards, or farmers, or any laborers really should not go to schools because it makes no rp sense. Oren Rangers should, Knights should, scholars should, nobles, and politicians. (Though I am mostly looking at it from a human point of view because I rarely see anyone in the other cities.) It might make sense for all elves to go to school since they are so long lived it's really just a Why not.

My character would probably enjoy teaching history from 1307 to present XD at least Oren history. From the Sand Miner Rebellion to the disbanding of the FoA.

Perhaps a school for future Merchants, like what nation prefers what material. Plus, a school for learning of Nation histories would help newcomers for a better understanding of the Lore. The idea offers younger characters to keep RP fresh.

The teachings would be completely different if you intend to have a school that all can attend or schools for each nation. I can think of many things it would be good for players to learn about their culture, more than just language and history; although these do stem from the latter.

I really do love the idea of universities and such on the server, but they always come crashing down before they really begin.
