Thank You Brave Warriors

*A piece of expensive-looking paper is pinned nearly to the Al'Khazar noticeboard, upon it, a lengthy message is written in elegant handwriting*

As many of you may know, the Undead tried to invade Al'Khazar today, and would've surely succeeded in taking the city had it not been for those who fought for her. This does not extend only do humans; I saw many people of all races fighting to defend the human capital - and for that, many are in your debt. Though lives were lost, we won the battle, and Aeriel even appeared before us; she had as much faith in you as you do in her. She told us that the battle would soon arrive at the Undead fort. So be wary, and be ready. This attack was unexpected, who knows when the next will be. But do not focus on that now. The Undead are weakened, and it is thanks to you, the brave warriors. You, shall carry the people of Aegis to victory.

*writes his own mesage on the paper as well*

Yes, Many fought well, and together. You should all be proud for the job you have done. Al'khazar is safe once again. Hopefully longer this time. I thank all of you that partook in the battle. You have done well.

Ashur wanders past and stops to read the note. He tilts his head, puzzled. "When did THIS happen...?"

((And we discussed in OOC this morning whether or not we would enjoy an Al'Khazar siege event.

I see your hand in this, Liri >_>))

*Reads the note, smiles and mutters to himself*

Yes, that was quite the battle. Lightning, monsters and taunts from the Undead and their supporters rained down on the city, but it was not enough to deter those dedicated to the defense.

Hundreds and hundreds of hordes everywhere...

((I think it was Khronos's, Impluse's and Princess Dusk's planning, they were online when it occured))

You see a new note near the one about brave warriors. It reads:

"The Undead have been getting weaker ever since we destroyed Bloody Fields, they aren't much of a threat any more, these attacks just show how desperate they are becoming.

-Writes on the wall in blood, the words dripping down the the ground as it coagulates to the wall-

M'lords expect ye will come fer vengeance, I remain unamused unentertained at the fact that ye think were losing this battle. A strategic retreat was required for the preservation of m'lords work. Think ye have won fer now, but if ye come expecting m'lord's to cower with their tails behind their back, ye will see that you have crossed the wrong threshold, one of death and despair.

-A severed ravaged human arm and leg lay at the wall, in open view for all to see-

Tylos looks behind him but he can't find the cannibal that wrote the note, he then turns and reads the note. He laughs after reading it and he puts a note next to the blood writing. It reads:

"What's with Undead and excuses? Ever since Bloody Fields, the Undead have been making excuses for why they always lose every battle. If us mortals are lesser beings to Undead then why do we defeat you every time we face off in battle?

- Guess"

-Vardak reads the note, feeling he needs to justify the excuse, he takes more from his cask of blood and writes on the walls on the other side of the note. It reads-

An excuse, yes. But nevertheless m'lords retreat was well justified, ye are to expect us to watch as m'lords weakest links are holding us down? Keeping them from their destiny? If ye think ye are strong and willing, if ye think this victory means anything, savor it. For it's almost time ye truly realize that m'lords will take back what's rightfully theirs, the north.

-As you read this note, you can see out the corner of your eye a hooded figure, vanishing in the shadows of the alleyways-

((I think this was originally intended just to be mob spawning lessons for some of the new GMs, but as more people gathered in Al'Khazar and more mobs were spawned, Liri and the Undead (and maybe Khronos) decided to turn it into a proper war. Don't hold me to that though, because I have no idea.))

*Upon walking past the noticeboard Kashi sees the red ink running down the piece of paper and the board. He quickly cleans off the ink so as not to leave a threat on the noticeboard for others to see*
