VonEbs 1224 Share Posted November 23, 2011 It has painfully come to my attention, through no fault but our own, that Malinor is floundering. With Lirinya's betrayal, and other dark events, Malinor's power has been depleted, and the people are loosing faith. I am blaming no one, but from what I have seen, from the Sister City being lit up like kindling, to Ravenhold's vast estates being laid to waste by daemon fire, it cannot continue. This is a call to all elves, that we need to change. Our ways are no longer effective. We can no longer hide in the forests, for they have been burnt down. Laurelin's security is threatened from all sides, and there is no one to protect it. I write to you to convince who ever can help that we need help, for without major reform, Malinor's forests will burn, and elves will be heard screaming for years. I've seen the same, it is a shame, but we have to do something about it. -Aedan, Descendant of the Wild Elves

For Hope, Ebs, Viscount of Fionn I look forward to seeing Lirinya's head impaled on the front gate. Her betrayal shan't go unpunished. As a Human, as a Northerner, the Elves can count on my support. Aerinyes 402 Share Posted November 24, 2011 Our peaceful way of life will be our undoing if we cannot adapt and change. We should not however give up the freedoms we hold so very dear. We are not like the dwarves and humans who can hide behind the safety of their stone walls like a prison. No, instead we must be proactive, we must go on the offensive. We must be prepared. Our might needs to be honed and focused. For too long the elven force of battle has been allowed to atrophy. I would like to meet with others of similar ideals to discuss this further. I have many thoughts on the matter that I would like to share with our kin. I have much information to bring as well and need a central location in which to share it with all. Indeed a war can not be won if we merely hide inside our city. Simaler to how you can not win a duel without striking back. We must fight back against them and make them flee back into there obsidian towers. They will be unprepared for the full might of the elves and they will fall
MrHobo 1 Share Posted November 27, 2011 I cannot help in any way if we do decide the best of course of action would be violence. Aye, I am a Wolverine, but, I have grown weak, as illness struck me down. I wish the strength of the forest with those who defend the great princedom of Malinor. -Private Cirdan Tiwele
Briamoth 41 Share Posted November 27, 2011 This is indeed true. I have tried to remain quiet and remain in the forests, but I can no longer. I have seen Malinor attacked over and over with little to no opposition. We must stand up and attack those who oppose us because if not, we may not have a home left to defend. -Herbalist Briamoth
Dio Astóre 69 Share Posted November 27, 2011 I propose the people of Malinor encourage the Council to convene for official discussions over recent events that have transpired, our political stance on matters - including the nature of our alliance with Krugmar and its future - , the ever increasing number of settlements and orders that divide Malin's children by distance and cause, the current goals and ambitions of notable representatives from each race along with whatever else those attending feel deserves mention and deliberation. The heart of Laurelin has long missed the voices of Malinor. Let Aegis' wishes be heard above the center of knowledge that is the Library, and allow everyone the chance to speak their minds. Let us have reform and establish our sense of unity again where the products of history lie. - Dio Astóre, High Elf of Laurelin
