Background in Natural Sciences & IT. I like reading (anything from Harry Potter to Goethe). My MC Name is obviously taken from the book 'The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy' but I have a more optimistic world view than he has. I picked him because he's one of my favorite characters.

-How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

Depends on what's going on in real life. On average I'd guess about 10 h a week.

-How long have you played minecraft?:

-What do you know about roleplaying?:

I've been playing 3 editions (2nd, 3rd and 4th) of the German P&P RPG 'Das Schwarze Auge' (The Dark Eye). I started when I was in 5th or 6th grade. Did not play for a few years, but started again as I moved to a new town.

I've also done some RP online (in Browser Games for example) but that does not really count. This would be the first time in English though.

-What do you expect this server will be like?:

I'm looking forward to explore the world this community has created and meeting interesting characters.

I've spent a few h exploring the server already (as a wandering soul), and the landscape and the settlements look amazing. I'm hoping to see a lot of player interaction.

-What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I've only been playing on one MC server so far (maybe 2 month), and I'm currently still playing there (legit. survival server). Although I like the server, there is no 'real' virtual game world and it is lacking complexity, the survival aspect is also almost none existent and it's no RP server. But most importantly my P&P RPG-group is finding it harder and harder to agree on the next meeting because everyone is busy in real life and thus we are meeting less often... so I'm looking to switch to a RP server.

-Biography:

Goldor, his parents, his elder brother and his baby sister were on their way to a family wedding when they were waylayed and attacked by bandits.

Only Goldor and his sister survived the attack, Goldor was only 2 years old.

They were found by a traveling elderly merchant who took them in. The merchant and his wife raised Goldor and his sister as their own children. His sister is now happily married to a local farmer. Last year first his father and one week later his mother died because of old age. Goldor has now set out to see the world and start his own business.

Goldor is a young man with brown hair and dark brown eyes. He wears simple but yet elegant brown woolen clothing suited for travel.

Goldor is open minded and eager to learn new things. In times of need he's always willing to help out fellow travellers.

Yes, Goldor went to school and is rather good at reading and writing.

So far Goldor has not even seen the inside of a mine.

Goldor has already seen a lot of differen buildings and always used to be good at math. But he simply lacks the experience and practial skills of a builder.

Goldor knows how to use it but has never been in a real fight.
