Did you attend minecon and sign up at the LOTC booth?:

No.

How old are you?:

15.

Time-Zone/Country of Residence:

Australia

Australian Eastern Standard Time.

Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?:

Yes, I do have a good grip on my English (First language) and try to be as grammatically correct as I can.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:

I enjoy playing games with other people and I love being in a wide group of people. I like to express my creative side as well as being serious when it counts. I like to commit to doing something 100% and continue to commit to it until it is complete.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

20-40 hours (School and work)

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.:

I think Roleplaying is about having a fun time and being able to enjoy yourself with friends or even complete strangers. Roleplaying is something anyone is able to do and anyone is able to do well at. All it takes is for 1 idea to be created, and more and more ideas will branch from them.

I use to Roleplay on Warcraft 3, on a map called SoTDRP - Secrets of The Depth Roleplay. This was a good place to start, because it allowed you to interact with people you don't know and be able to create situations that allowed everyone to get involved and for everyone to have fun. After I finished playing SoTDRP, I moved on to text Roleplaying. Which involved full text roleplays.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.

I believe that Metagaming is using informations that the in game character doesn't know. This can widen from where a certain place is, or to what someone's name is. Powergaming in Roleplaying is where someone practically makes their character have excessive power, or being almost god like in a way. It shows that the person only wants their character to be good, and to not really have a fun time. Both Powergaming and Metagaming make Roleplaying less fun for everyone involved.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I expect the server to be very enjoyable. I expect it to allow me to have fun with everyone on it when I feel like it, and when I don't feel like it, I would be able to go off and create something to help out the server.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I have not been on many other big servers. I've mainly played on vanilla servers with friends(about 5 people at a time). I have played on 1 big server though, it had about 30 people and I was an admin for it. I stopped playing because the server went down and didn't come back up for a while.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?:

Yes, I have read and understand the rules.

How did you hear about us?:

I heard about the server from a friend of mine who is an Admin on this server and I thought it would be a good idea to apply.

Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you?

I have voted and I have proof if needed, but it didn't give me a vote number.

What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?:

Character Name:

Nathal Tilune

What is your Race?:

Blood Elf

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Nathal was born as a blood elf. He had one trait that made him very unique to all the other blood elves. This was that Nathal was born partially blind and had only about 40% visibility from his eyes. At a young age of two, his parents started to cover his eyes with a brown bandage, to one day hope he would be able to see. Nathal not being able to see meant he had to rely on other senses to know his way around. Later into Nathals life, he learnt that he was able to see better at night. His parents were amazed by this fact, that his vision was almost normal at night time.

Nathal was born as an only child to his two parents Larodar Tilune and Marrisa Tilune. When Nathal was born, his father was currently working in the Royal army. Larodar was a very noble man and was honoured by his town for going to war to defend the town from countless attacks. When Nathal was born, his father was barely home to spend time with him, which lead to Nathal spending a lot of time by himself and with his mother.

Marrisa was also involved with the Royal army but on a less extensive level. Marrisa was a nurse for the soldiers who got wounded in the heat of the battle. She specialised in creating potions to heal the sick and injured. Nathal had to stay close to who ever was home, because he had a hard time walking around during the day. This meant that Nathal spent a lot of time with his mother when his father wasn't home. This allowed him to learn about herbs and brewing potions. Nathal took quickly to this and was amazed at the things his mother told him.

When Nathal's father was home, he would spend as much time as he could with him. The two of them would mostly sit around and Nathal would listen to his father tell him about all of his stories from battle. Nathal couldn't get enough of it. He would always ask his father to tell him more and more and then started to ask his father if he could get a weapon of his own. At the age of 8, his father bought him a small curved blade with a sharp tip. The handle was engraved with the words - "Even if you can't see your goal, don't stop striving for it." With this, he promised to help Nathal as much as he could. From then on, when ever Larodar was home, Nathal would ask for his father to teach him new tricks and techniques.

One evening when Nathal was outside training, his mother called him into the house for dinner. As the two of them ate dinner, Nathal was eager for his fathers arrival after 4 weeks of being away. There was a knock at the door and his mother stood up and went to the door, where she was confronted by two men. The one on the left was holding a helmet in his hands that Marrisa couldn't make out. She stood talking to them for a couple of minutes as Nathal sat in the kitchen. She then closed the door and walked back into the kitchen with the helmet and sat down and started crying. Nathal was immediately was worried and comforted his mother. As she stopped crying, she looked up at Nathal and whispered the words - "Your father, died."

Nathal didn't move, he didn't cry and he didn't react. He just say there staring at what he could see of the helmet. He questioned his mother, asking if she was sure, and asking if it was him. She just kept answering the same. He then stood up, shoving his chair back. He picked up the helmet then slammed it back down on the table - "This isn't his. I know what fathers helmet is like and this isn't his!"

Days past after Nathal learnt of his fathers fate. It was a Sunday morning and Nathal's father was planned for burial. His mother dressed him up in his finest clothes and they both attended the ceremony. It was one of the longest and saddest times in Nathal's life. At the end, one of the men that confronted his mother, confronted Nathal at the ceremony, baring a long and wide box. He knelled down to be face to face with Nathal and whispered - "These are for you. Your father always wanted you to have them." He then opened the box to reveal his fathers two long crescent blades with the same engraving as his first blade.

With this, Nathal trained and trained as much as he was able to. To hopefully, one day, have the strength his father had, despite his visual impairment. Nathal now travels from town to town, trying to find information about his father, to one day hope he is able to find what truly happened to him. His weapon of choice is his fathers two crescent blades(One on each hand) and his first blade, which he keeps on a holder on his leg. He also has a brace on his back for his crescent blades.

Your characters ambitions:

Nathal's ambition is to learn more and more about his family and try to track down his father, as well as training. He normally wears a cloak to most places he goes so people don't bother him on his searches. Nathal's other ambition is to find a place that he call home. He can't stay in the town that his father and mother lived in, he wasn't able to stand with the burden.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

At first sight, Nathal would try to steer clear of trouble, but couldn't resist the urge for fighting. He would quickly draw his blade from his back holder and charge down the enemy. He would take extra care in every step he takes, to make sure he wouldn't miss the one strike he would have. He would strike in the centre of the bandits backs, to prevent the chance of harming the elf. As soon as the bodies hit the ground, he would quickly run back into the forest brush, trying not to be seen.

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

At first, he wouldn't answer the shop owner and continue looking around the store. As he finds something he needs, he would approach the counter and take the hood from his cloak off, revealing his face and the bandage. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out the amount that is needed. He keeps his eyes fixed on the owner, at the most he can see a blur of his face. He turns around and walks towards the exit, but before he leaves he says to the owner - "Ask about the bandage, and I will kill you before you hear me answer." And leaves the shop.
