What's with roleplaying childs anyway?

While it is a current trend, I think it has a bit more substance behind it than many of the trends we've had. I'm sure its got something to do with the looming map change. Players are unsure of what is about to happen so there are more players beginning again from scratch than we normally have. There's also a lot of elf children going around. Considering the disappointing fertility rate of the race, there's some serious naughty business going on.

If I see another orc child that is one year old and walking around, and talking like a 20 year old. I well cut it's head off saying it a abomination and a creation of Ibless.

Until the child is 3 years old he should not be training nor be able to know the whole dictionary, 4-5 he should be training.

Orc children are not hulks.

Awww someone sounds jealous that I taught an Orc how to walk at the age of 1. By the way, here is some stuff to consider when you bring up the ages of when our Orcs should be doing what:

The average baby (In real life) develops at the following stages:

Age 14mo~15mo: Walking

Age 18mo~2years: Talking

Now take into consideration orcs develop even faster. Technically a human child would be able to start training at age 1 1/2 to 2, when he can successfully grasp objects, communicate, and walk. All the requirements for being able to start some level of training are present at the age of 1 1/2 to 2 years. Orcs develop faster, therefore an Orc should be capable of starting training no less than 1 to 1/2 years old. If you are waiting until 4-5 you are actually stunting your child's growth and are a bad parent.

Let me explain this. I came on the server after always having a facination with Orcs and wanted to start as a baby and raise him. Three of my friends decided to follow me, thus creating the plague of Orcish Cubs you are seeing. I am Isagubat, the ring leader. There is also Cor'ag, My brother; Iza, my sister; and Zorg'Torg my Cousin.. It is a cool thing we have done, but you won't be seeing us in Krugmar anymore because of the recent events involving our once Popo, Pok.

Thanks! - Sorry if this offended anyone.

Its not just cubs but children all over. It almost seems that there are more younglings than anything. However Im a bit guilty of it as well, Im playing a temp chara whos sixteen, I wanted something I could really mess around with while Mirabelle is missing so it turned out well.

Shes running a tavern on kings road with Urir as her sponser, made a good scrap of money off it so far. Makes for intresting RP as well, maybe the cubs could wander in and get into a little trouble :3

They actually already have. XD

- Remember the Dwarf and the Orc fighting? It was over us wanting to leave Krugmar.

Whatever happened to leaving your children out in the desert so that we wouldn't have to deal with them as babies; and then having socially awkward 25 year old orcs introduced into society with no parents?

^ I thought....it was only until they turned old enough to wield a sword they are accepted back into society of orcs? Or was I mistaken on that...

Ah i see where the issue is now lol. The group training with the other Orcs usually begins at age 5. However there is a lot of individual training (done with either the Grandmothers or the Lifemates depending on birth) that occurs through the first few years of life. 5 is basically "Team Training". Really you are expected to be a sufficient fighter by age 5. At that point they just want to ensure you can A) fight in groups and B) actually learned something from your primary training (we don't your lifemate parents didnt just let you sit around all day and drink juice, so you have tests of individualized ability occasionally. But mostly group learning experiences and tests)
