Agnub 605 Share Posted January 3, 2012 The council decided to get rid of the Seneschal since the High Chancellor does the same thing. Throdo would be correct. The main reasoning behind the decision was that the Seneschal was in essence a "steward" ((think Denethor from LotR)). The only real purpose is to act as King when the King was away or in transition (between a new and old king). The Lord High Chancellor can easily do this so in order to simplify and remove unneeded council positions we decided to consolidate them.
