(You know.... I dont want King. I'm so tired of OOC disbutes getting the way of RP and I wasnt very smart in posting this three days before 2.0 comes out. I will not go for King cause I dont want to be on my computer everynight lol I have a life and right now I enjoy just being a clan lord. I hope this has oepnd thoriks eyes to problems and I would gladly love to talk withi him about fixing various holes I see in the goverment and nation entierly. I love that people support me but eh its not my place. I dont want to rule anything more then a town if that... Ironguts give me enough problems lol. YOu all may hate me or get mad but its a game and I'll still play cause I always have. Sorry to cause a ****storm and Thorik I hope we can talk like friends again and I would like to help with problems I see. Im very sorry to you all and my friends. :/ )

Personally, I would support whoever can control the Ire'Heart clan. While I cannot speak on behalf of the council, I personally see the Ire'Hearts as the biggest problem between out two nations. They come into Malinor when there are no guards about and simply do what they want, attack our people, steal from homes, and even kidnap our people. Malinor has presented several appeals to the Dwarves for help, but we have not experienced any difference in Ire'Heart activity. Again, while I cannot speak for the council, I would personally support whoever can stop the Ire'Hearts from their... aggressive activities.

OOC: Just to clarify. Yes the elves are able to often repel the Ire'Hearts when during peak hours, but say at 1 a.m. PST when I'm the only one in Laurelin they're kind of hard to stop...

((Well, as many know I speak very firm about my opinions. I've been the longest running Nation Leader on LoTC and I have lead and ran Nations on many other forms of RP aside from Minecraft. The Dwarves have had a horrible reign of Kings, and I believe we can all agree with that, being a King that can please the majority of his people requires a certain mentality in character and out of character, you must make decisions that is for the betterment of the nation and the people... even if it involves you upsetting many. I've observed you for quite a while as a possible Dwarf that would suit Kal'Urguan, I have observed many Dwarves for the same reason as I am a Dwarf myself and believe it or not, I want Kal'Urguan to prosper, more so then it has in the past. I will be blatantly honest with you, I do not think you can make those decisions properly, I do not think you would be a good fit for ruling Kal'Urguan. Your past actions in which I will not go into for obvious reasons have confirmed my assumption of you not having the proper mentality to do what is necessary. You are a great guy Hiebe, but I do not believe you're right for the job.))

Yet he still has right to attempt for the Kingship, weren't you the one saying 'If anyone wants to displace me, have right at an attempt of so?'

I suppose I 'ave been a bit rash. Thorik 'as done what 'e can whie 'e 'as been king. I call fer 'im te remove Tarion frem the position of 'ead Gaurd de te 'is inexperience and overall attitude toward others. Crime is rampant in the streets and nothin is bein done te stop it.

and Hiebe you are a gud guy, but i dont think you should be king(now). yes you are the leader of the longest living dwarven clan, so? that doesnt mean you are a qualified king. the king needs to handle harsh desicions.

((i dont think everyone needs to flame on thorik, it was vacation, the new world is comming up. everyone is tens. but you just all want to blame all the problems to the councilers. please try to handle them yourself first. or say something on the forums, or get ts. i want this server to be fun, but when the half of the nation is irongut and follows hiebes foot like a dog, then it isnt fun anymore. please no clan hate, or hating leaders while you have never spoke with them))

Well, it is disapontin' ter see that we as Dwarves, cannot settle our own internal disputes without arguin' and plottin' against each other. While the undead are on our doorstep, ye Ironguts and Braveaxes seem ter be doin' nothin' but arguin' amongst each other over who should be in control. Feel free ter continue if yer want ter bring us all into a civil war but I as a Blackaxe, standin' neutrally on the whole matter, feel that if we are to succeed as a nation, we must work tergether ter improve the kingdom and make changes to our current government, where we feel it is needed. It seems right now, yer are all becomin' as power 'ungry as each other. Let me at least try ter clear up a few things which I 'ope will appease yer.

To begin with, I'll start with somethin' that 'as long been an issue fer many Ironguts. I see so many of ye criticise the Braveaxes, sayin' they dictate over the other 'ouses and 'ave done nothin' good fer this kingdom and yet when I ask what ye would 'ave done differently, yer only talk about feastin' and goin' back ter the so called, 'old ways'. Well, it seems I will 'ave ter give yer a bit of an 'istory on 'ow the Grand Council came inter existance. Many years ago now, if yer remember correctly, the Dwarven nation was considerebly weaker than it is today. With no true allies, we were constantly 'avin' ter deal wit', teh possibility of a future Warden or Orc attack on Kal'Urguan. After Algrim turned ter Iblees and King Gotrek 'ad gone off on 'is travels, it was largely left ter the War Council ter run Kal'Urguan. The 'old 'igh council no longer did anythin' ter 'elp the Dwarves and so it was Thorik and the Longbeards, Chaecus, Broski, Stronghold and I that led Kal'Urguan, even though it was not our job ter do so. Now after Gotrek failed ter return, we chose ter appoint Thorik and the War Council as the official government of Kal'Urguan, 'avin' gained considerable support from the Dwarven population. We always intended ter strenghten our military ter ensure that we could repel any invasion against us and that is what 'appened when the Orcs and Elves chose ter siege Kal'Urguan. Would you 'ave 'ad us sit down and feast while our lands were threatened by other nations?

We 'ave reached a point where we no longer 'ave ter fear other nations and although much blood 'as been spilt, I do not regret what we 'ave done. Now that the threat of invasion is dealt with and we 'ave many strong allies, what needs ter be worked on, is what 'appens inside the city itself, meanin' we need ter get ter on wit' improvin' the Lower Council so that it works more efficiently. Bickerin' amongst ourselves and criticisin' Thorik and the Grand Council fer doin' what we thought was best fer Kal'Urguan will get us nowhere, nor will tryin' ter overthrow the King. So aye, I ask that all true Dwarves of Kal'Urguan, do not argue amongst each other, but work tergether ter improve the nation. As I soon travel ter the Nether, unlikely ter ever return, I do not wish ter remeber Kal'Urguan as a nation, split apart by family rivalries and old grudges. Remember this, ye are all the sons and daughters of Urguan, no matter what nation ye are from or what beliefs ye 'old. Choose ye actions wisely and do not threaten the stability of our nation in times of such darkness. The undead taint will soon come to Kal'Urguan, as it did with Al'Khazar and Alras. I only 'ope that we will be prepared fer what is ter come.

The Ironguts have done nothing because they can't. We have no one in a position of power right now. I have been doing my best as a guard and have caught quite a few criminals and rule breakers.
