You realise it will almost certainly be removed soon, as it is placed in the noble district, where shops will be scare, if there at all. When the actual area is built, the stall will probably be demolished so selling it is a bad idea at this time.

Although I am not in charge of building, so I may well be wrong...

((I lol'd because he posted this, how did you tell him? How can we hear or see it? You didn't post a note, didn't hire a town crier to yell these words out, so how do we hear it, and how did he hear it and respond? Don't be so hypocritical, especially to a FM whom, in general terms, knows more about the rights and wrongs. =) <--- isn't trying to be mean, just point out something))

*Alurid notices a man in the whereabouts of Renatus.*

"Hello! Welcome to Renatus!" Alurid exclaims.

*The man explains to Alurid that he is a runner for King Enor and that he is gathering information from Renatus and Hanseti for the King.*

"What man prevails such jealousy? Such a fool that he is." Alurid tells the runner.

((No, what I'm trying to get at is that I play fire with fire. I am in no position to be hypocritical and I hate to be considered hypocritical.))

Too much, lad. I'd buy it if it were cheaper but det shack luuks like it cuuld barely attract flies, let alone real customers. Det stall is wurt' a small home in Salvus and multiple 'omes in Karik, for de love o' de Paragons, ye' shuuld lower de price. I'd consider buying if so.

There's houses and shops in Hanseti for less than this.

((Don't look here anyone, definitely no shameless advertising happening, no of course not... You... saw... nothing.))

Aye, but the Hansetian mountains, are some of the most beautiful landscapes in Asulon! 500 Minas is worth seeing them in all their beauty!

*laughs*

It is just not a simple entry fee. We meticulously track and catalog the comings and goings of travelers.

Part of the reason is security. With such a grand book of names ((data base)) we can identify someone by name, description and know exactly if they have committed an offense and if they are a citizen there address so justice can be served.

The cost I believe is fair for the skilled farmers I need to pay for the reeds they collect. The processing them to paper and creation of books. For the cost of labor for the agents to create the extensive passport document and keep the grand book ((data base)) up to date and finally the cost of law enforcement.

This paired with the fact that we can not just have anyone act as an agent of the realm to issue the passports. Renatus might be in the buisness of hiring "budget" labor but Hanseti certainly isn't.

Needless to say a cost well worth it.
