    • No, the map size is fine, the travel distances need to be addressed.

From the perspective of a player new to RP servers and no fast travel as a whole, I have to admit some trips seem nearly impossible. I have made the trip to Hanseti three times out of the maybe 10 times I have attempted it. I have died to all manner of monsters and I have died to slips when my hunger gets too low. It takes me over 20 minutes to make it to there from the Cloud Temple and unfortunately, I forgot to set my soul there. So basically, I'm screwed. I've died enough times trying to make it back that I half don't want to try again. I'm seriously ready to walk away from the thought of ever making it back to Hanseti...which is unfortunate as I really like the town. But without the minas to pay for an escort, food or weapons, I'm basically screwed. I would love some sort of travel option between some of these cities...even if I had to walk 10 minutes out, at least it could cut my travel time and possibly save my life and goods at some point.

Make a fast travel system like Skyrim. Have boats like in Aegis, for one, that warp you to another boat. Then for land travel, have a carriage system that you could only use if you're within say two blocks of the carriage. It would then warp to one of so many different locations including each capital city. Use a command something like /warp carriage [city name]. And of course, you have to pay. The further away the destination, the more money it'll cost. Also, to avoid abuse of any kind, just make a casting time basically. You could call it boarding time or something like that. That takes away abuse of people running from someone else and just instantly warping away.

Maybe have like wizards that when right clicked they fast travel you to a specific location, and subtract minas from you when traveling.. There would be also a cooldown, idk..

Travel Distances need Fast Travel.

I have two soulstone locations set to my soulstone, one is to the wild like 2000 blocks away, and then one is to my city which is near the cloud temple. But, if I want people to visit me in the wild, they'd have to walk all that way. Or, if we plan to construct another town, and would like it to be in the wild, you'd have to either walk all this way there. Having fast travel would be much more convenient and could be improve role-play if implemented correctly.

With the issue of bad role-play, why not have specific times when you can use the travel mechanism? Like a train time system?

My comment on SoulStone question: If we die, the monks heal us. For days, sometimes months, years? We are there for a little bit either way. Our soulstone should be fine when we are released from their care. That's my opinion. :-)

Travel: I like how when you walk on the boat to get to the Gautlet, it TPs you there, but I think it should TP you to another boat, in the middle of the ocean somewhere, and then it TPs you to the Gautlet after ?10? seconds. I think this should be the same with other travels, making the time longer or shorter. I'm not sure if this is possible though, so maybe make a ship (or multiple ships) that TP you to a certain place. And from there, you walk to a boat that will send you to the right place, since this would add travel time. :-)
