TOWN CHARTER

MC Name: Roxses20

RP Name: Bayde

Town Name: Elson Zidar

Why are you/your character starting this town? What role will it play?

I am starting this town because my father was a leader of a prosperous town in Aegis named New Alstion. I wish to make a town like his: A peaceful town for all races to live together in harmony. We would be a peaceful merchant town.

What type of political system is enforced in this town?

Is this town under the reign of any other nation at this time? The government is a monarchy with customizations added to it. The house of Thyone will rule over the town with a council as well. The Monarchs (The house) will rule then the council will help with decisions. The council will represent the civilian population and will stay in power for five in game years. (Or 5 Real life weeks)

The council will help decide if a law is unfair or not. The Council will also be able to create laws.The council,however does not have the power to create laws without ⅔ of the monarchs agreeing. The Council can’t raise taxes either only the Monarchs can, however the council will be put in charge of recruitment of the army and in times of danger can raise a militia if needed. The Monarchs are in charge of funding, however a financial advisor can be elected to help with the economy of the town.

The Monarchs are in charge of the military and how much money will go into it. The Council can hire civilians to do certain jobs such as building structures, however the funding going towards those projects will be decided by the Monarchs. The Council is in charge of trade. The Monarchs are in charge of foreign affairs, however if ⅔ of the council think that a decision is unfair then a decision will be vetoed or overridden. The town, however may have its own laws, but it still has to listen to the elven kingdoms laws.

What sort of behavior will residents exhibit? (Race relations, nation relations, etc.)

Elson will allow all races, however the high elves will be frowned upon unless they prove themselves to be worthy. The citizens will be allowed to do whatever they wish, however they must obey the laws. The government will not oppress the citizens, so they may speak freely about the towns leaders. The town will have a lot of job openings so poverty will be rare among the town. The citizens will most likely act patriotic for the town as it gives a lot of opportunities to the citizens. The town will have a lot of projects that require a various amount of people so jobs will as said earlier not be scarce. The town will try to be allied with other kingdoms (As long as they are allies with the elves).

Where would you prefer the town’s region be? Including a screenshot of the land would be nice (of game or map).

The region will be in the outskirts of the Elven Kingdom

Races:

Any other then Mori, High Elves are frowned upon due to their racism in their cities.

Culture: The town wont have one set culture, we let anyone to worship or celebrate whatever they wish.

People signed this but how many people are living with you?

Also this is elves charter you need approve from the elves rulers not gms

About 8-10 people are living with us. Some new people didn't sign the charter, but yeah around 8-10 people are living with us.
