The Teutonic Order and Renatus have always had a tumultuous relationship. Hanseti has always felt that they were wronged when Oren was unjustly taken from them. Their former Hochmeister, Gaius Marius, was named king of Oren after Enor Sheffield stepped down. The Phoenix Revolution, upset at Gaius for his multiple strikes at Al’Khazar, decided to attempt to overthrow the newly crowned king. Gaius, not wishing to incite conflict, benevolently decided to gift the western half of Oren to the young revolutionaries. Years later, after the death of Gaius, Samuel Bealcrest became the new Hochmeister. The newly christened Renatus took this temporary moment of weakness from the Order as a time to strike. They attacked and attempted to sack Konigsberg twice whilst the Sariants grieved Gaius’s death. If not for the intervention of the great Morgroka and the UAC, Renatus most likely would have succeeded in destroying Hanseti. The conflict then took a temporary hiatus as Aegis fell to the Undead and the two nations moved to Asulon.

As the nations quickly became acclimated to their new homes in Asulon, the conflicts mirrored the progression. Skirmishes dominated the border of Renatus and Hanseti. The two nations both made multiple strikes at each others capital cities, though neither nation could seem to find the upper hand. The conflict appeared to be coming to a stand still. Throughout this time, Renatus was lead by Eze’Kial Tarus. A major shift in the conflict occurred when Tarus stepped down from the throne and Reynard Lycian took his place. Reynard promised massive reforms to the nation. He decided to reform the military force of Renatus, which at the time, had a less than stellar reputation. He also decided to rename Renatus to the Imperial Nation of Renatus.

Samuel watched Renatus attempt to change their ways. He waited for weeks on end to see any change in this new Empire. He saw none. During this time, all Samuel could think of was the attacks on Konigsberg so many years ago. He thought of the sight of the fields burning and the citizens fleeing in terror. Samuel decided that he would never allow this to happen again. He would never allow Renatus to sneak up on his nation and his people again. So, Samuel devised a plan. He commissioned his engineers to prepare siege equipment, he had his smiths churn out armor at a ludicrous pace. He was preparing for war. Samuel knew that the only way he could prevent his people from suffering again was to make the first strike at Renatus, so that is what he would do.

Samuel had watched as Renatus’s actions had gone without consequence. This would happen no more. Samuel was prepared to bring the consequences that he felt Renatus’s actions warranted. He thought back to something his friend Gaius had said before he died. “The Teutonic Order never forgives. The Teutonic Order never forgets.”

You can call two war claims for the same thing only a week or two apart? Interesting.

If the attack does/never happen they have to wait 5 days (( i think)( to attack again and this is past 5 days now

I said the name threw me off, it seems like it implies that due to the

" Hanseti n allies vs renatus" which made me think renatus is not allowed to have allies and wished to confirm it ((on ipod))

We know for a fact that we will have allies present at this battle. We were unsure if Renatus would or not. That is why we didn't put it on the War claim. Of course you are free to bring allies.

I though if we improved the war would stop, anyways, see you on the field.

It is to my understanding that that claim was made by someone who did not have the authority to make it, during the time the main leaders and generals were absent from the meeting and therefore could not deliver a proper response to the war.
