zortjr 32 Share Posted March 5, 2012 Too much wood, Exo. ((There isn't to much wood. If it is really that bad maybe replace it with iron blocks.))
Arbrek the Ancient 140 Share Posted March 5, 2012 Well, personally, I feel that Dwarven architecture should be compleaty devoid of wood at all times.
Charles_Grimlie 1072 Share Posted March 5, 2012 Burn the wood burn it all to make charcoal! Well unless your a Ireheart you shouldn't be lavishing in wood mountain homes created our of the death and scorn of your foes...
Dun_Irongut 104 Share Posted March 5, 2012 No wood. Anything else would be fine. Obsidian, iron blocks, etc.
no longer active 734 Share Posted March 5, 2012 What about putting small towers where the wood is?
Wirri 1 Share Posted March 5, 2012 I really enjoy the idea of a new capitol. I'd like to share this with you, a Minecraft series on building a Dwarven city. The episodes are rather lengthy but definitely worth a skim. If many of the houses were like the one built in Episode one, I really think people would like it better. -Will
Charles_Grimlie 1072 Share Posted March 5, 2012 Yeah, it is nice to see some one that knows of loch modan like I do XD I live thelsmar, and often it is the first thing I mention, the second would ve kirthhaven in the highlands... As for a simple idea I recently came up with... The city should be for once built into the inside of a bloody mountain than fully underground! As that is the proper dwarf thin to do! So that means that all we really need to create is the door! And then the hall, making it easy to get in and out but yet locking ourselves inside, even a Ireheart will enjoy living inside a mountain for once! Would be interesting to see the king's mountain to be used as the subject but alas it is in karik's architecture. So anyone like this idea? Or are we going to live in Isengarde... Religious_Pie 127 Share Posted March 5, 2012 The only problem with living in a mountain, is that the space is very restrictive, sometimes, you'd have to go underground simply for a tad more room.
