Yeah, I see where you are coming from Vaq when you are saying that these are the guys who keep the server running and they should be given leadership positions anyway.

Well, what if some rich kid decides, "EURHUR I HAZ $500 DOLLERZ!" and spends it on the Aether Donator Rank.

That's GREAT for the server. Now, what if this kid turns out to be a jerk AND cannot Role Play? Then what?

I did not like this perk when we first had it, I don't like it this time.

At the end of the day, the donater is still going to have to ask/apply for that "High position", and, from what I've seem, your donater status is rarely put into consideration.

He could easily make a his own town using his plot, but people tend to be drawn towards the towns/guilds that have a strong lore, or are just very popular(Or have oblivious Gaurds *Cough* Salvus *Cough* JK =P) .

Not sure why everyone why everyone is complaining about it. The diamond pack has a similar perk yet honestly it's never taken into consideration.

The key word in that perk is the "May", because no one will actually give you a high ranking position because your a "High lord".

I'll admit it's tempting though. a 200x200 plot of land? 4 50x50 plots? I could be some sorta diplomatic type and open up an inn/shop in every province if I wanted to. That's kinda awesome.

Well if you split 200x200 to 50x50 plots,it would be 16 plots...

200x200=40000

4x(50x50)=10000

16x(50x50)=40000

So have fun with your 16 inns :P

I think they just set it to smaller plots if you spilt them to avoid tiny plots all over the place...
