More benefits coming soon for Ender/Aether once we upgrade to Patch 1.2.3!

Ok, the new VIP benefits aren’t fully complete as we couldn’t make the move to 1.2.3 yesterday, but most of them already are and can be listed. I’ve also went ahead and overhauled the entire automated donation system, so you no longer need to be online to receive your benefits automatically! Please note that any excess donations we receive will go towards highering additional programmers, GFXers, etc. and paying current ones to continue their work. We need your help if LOTC is to expand beyond this point. I want to be able to get a full team of programmers in here so we can start developing not only our custom client mod so we can get off this minecraft framework, but also so we can begin work on recoding all of our custom plugins for compatibility with 1.2.3.

• Access to /delsoul and /selectsoul – Ability to choose which saved soul location you teleport to, and ability to remove locations you no longer need!
  
• 285 Total Level – Gifted by the gods as an individual with extreme talent, you can get up to 285 levels with /stats, rather than the default 275. Be just a little bit stronger than it is possible for the average creature!
  
• 100×100 Definable Lands - You can have up to a 100×100 area of protected land for your kingdom/empire. Please note that 100×100 is the max size, you may also simply define a 50×50 and another 50×50. You can divide the amount up to 5 regions!

I thought this had been handled before, when it was decided that you can't just buy power, but apparently not. What possible RP explanation do you have for this? Now if somebody has donated money they can have a character be higher than any others. I can't believe this was allowed to be implemented. That is beyond wrong, it needs to be replaced.

Why must you start giving more in game perks? Replace these metagaming god perks with something sensible like t-shirts and mugs, custom signatures etc.

Are you kidding me? Stop being so sensetive. It's payed to win because you can have 25 more levels than normal people? For the record, we don't have enough money to pay for the monthly bill anyway. So we'll be downgrading to a lower slot server if we can't get enough $ by then. I think we will even without these changes, but come on man.

Pay to win, because I can have 25 cooking more than you? You can get 99 swords / 99 blacksmithing and do max DPS. The king thing? Obviously we won't give free ingame leadership away without question or RP, it is simply a prerequisite to be a leader of the community. It makes sense for these people to be the leaders as they're the ones that allow us to continue to stay online.

Metagaming perks is no way to say thanks for donating. Donors keep the server running, yes, we thank them, but they should never get any perk that affects RP over another player's.

As I said, there are several real life things we could offer, we have LOTC MERCHANDISE that we haven't even given away as perks. I maintain-this is unacceptable.

Even giving a 25 skill points is unfair, because people can't attain this level normally, without shelling out real life money for it.

As far as the kingship or lordship, nobody actually looks at it. What riles me up the most about this perk is that it's like dangling a fish in front of a cat, but when the cat grabs at it it turns to smoke; nobody checks it, nobody acknowledges this perk in RP anyways, so it seems more like adding something that doesn't do anything to the perk list, and promising that it will help when really it won't.

Not to mention the fact that even if it did we could see horrible RPers donating money to the server and then prancing around as 'High Lord" all the time, imagine how that would affect RP.

VIP25+ Have gotten LWC from the start. Normal players don't.

VIP25+ Have full access to falsebook. Normal players don't.

VIP25+ Get Shops, normal players don't.

This is not an amazing new idea, we've given perks like this to players in the past, why are you acting like this is the end of the world just now? Also, how many people are going to donate $300/$500? Almost no one.

Name one large server on earth that gives LESS benefits than us, we are the most liberal of any server.

$15 = /butcher

$300 = You can use /i to spawn any item you want. And you think we're unfair? Do you know how much time and effort it takes, and how much money it takes to host all the things we do? We would die within a month if no one donated, hence why we reward our donators for running LOTC.
