xFrozt 14 Share Posted March 16, 2012 Barias has left his position as Bishop of Peace and the town isn't his, it's the guilds (White Ravens). We have not discussed about this and did not agree to have any war or whatsoever. Relgard and his Spectres has been banned from coming to Aliquam Purus, so will you guys still be attacking the Ravens? None shall accept a war claim with out my consent, as i am the founder, leader and owner of the white ravens. My name is Alvaska Windfawl, and i deny these faulty claims untill a council is held in my presence! ((not to mention barias and syria have broken about 3 server rules now. 1. Stealing guild funds of 30k minas with out any form of a va. -barias 2. Impersonating leadership to officially accept a war claim. -barias 3. DecoLamb 959 Share Posted March 18, 2012 First of all, we do not need your acceptance or denial to validate a war claim. Second of all, the 30K was part of the server wipe, it's not his fault. If you want your money reimbursed, go fill out the format. We can declare war on you if we want, we need to make a war claim to have a GM validate an attack, not to declare war. We only need Mogroka's approval, and he simply asked for more IC information, the example he gave being screenshots, which we're already obtaining. (( Posting this from the White Ravens board is it still applies (( Barias was put in charge. OWNERSHIP, which includes funds, major choice making, and the land itself, belongs to him until stated otherwise by the original owner. When nppeck's character died, nppeck gave both IC and OOCly all OWNERSHIP of the city of Aliquam Purus transfered to barias (This is including the rights to the region). Meaning you have no say over it anymore, ic or ooc. There's this thing, it's called indian giving, you're trying to do it right now, just an FYI. When you buy a car from someone, that car is now under your ownership. The original owner cannot come in and say what you can and cannot do to said car. Example: you wish to paint the car you bought, it's your choice. NOT the original owner. The war is a valid point as in RP when Rekenara was in the city, Syrila was willing to go to war with the Ravens and the entire city of Aliquam, Barias had brought Rekenara to Syrila and Barias, in that process had done surgery in order to save her life from infections. They had become good friends after this incident and Syrila had vowed that if Barias was to be removed from power or assassinated, she would come to level the city. Aswell in a time of war Aliquam would be able to call upon Syrila and her allies incase the city was to be attacked or if the Ravens were to attack another faction. And just that has happened, Barias has been removed from power and his family's life threatened, which gives a more than valid reason for Syrila to come and destroy the city. Also I have been seeing more than more people from the Ravens and the city who have been bringing more and more OOC into this war. I will not name names out of respect. You are trying to stop this war through OOC means when I know I have a perfectly valid in character reason to attempt to attack you as do my allies. You need to remember that this is a roleplay server and that you need to do things in character. If you want to stop me, the war threats have already been made in character, but try and stop me through in character means; stop going around saying that I cant do this and that because I can, and I am. Long story short: Sometimes you just have to take the loss, that is character development, which is a vital asset in all roleplay communities. And if you choose not further develop your character, all you are doing is causing stagnation, and stagnation kills roleplay, which ruins the fun for the broad spectrum of the server. If you defeat me, go ahead, I will be happy to take the loss, my character will move forward for it. It may be that I will try to destroy you another way or that I may give up, that is dynamic roleplay and that is what everything this server is about; creating stories where you don't know what happens next, stories that never end, stories that are always changing, gaining new and more exciting chapters. Stories that define LOTC in it's glorious entirety. Now I ask you, are you really going to stop something that could completely redefine the guild, and give your characters a life-changing experience? Are you really jsut going to run the same old rut until you burn a ring in the ground? Or are you going to actually PLAY the ROLE of a guild about to be attacked by a massive force? Give me your best shot Ravens, show me everything you have, and show the SERVER what you have. (( 1. First of all, all money has from the server has been wiped, so it would not matter anyways. Second, the money that I have gotten for all land and expansion has come out of my own pocket, who bought all the glowstone for the streetlamps? I did, who bought all the redwood for the homes? I did. The money that the GUILD had is with Nppeck at the current moment which he had never given me despite all the times I asked him for it IC and OOCly, but again all money has been wiped from the server. 2. You gave the land to Nppeck to expand, you gave OWNERSHIP of land to Nppeck, which in turn gave me OWNERSHIP, so yes, I do have ownership of that land. 3. What I see here is that you are sour that there is a very good possibility that you will lose the city as a result of this war. BTW: The war is accepted and was only put on hold/suspened in order to let the ravens and the city know that Syrila and her allies were coming to attack.
