I totally agree I was down there forever and couldn't find the way out. It's quite literally, a maze! I had a backpack full of all iron armor loot when I was finally slain (After about 45 minutes of wandering around mind you) when all the hallways around me became filled with zombies and pigmen (Who someone pissed off) and there was no escape. Considering I came in with an empty backpack, I think I did quite well.

Bottom line: The staff needs to rethink the Dungeon. It is too massive and confusing. If the only way people find the exit is through pure luck and chance, then you have serious problem.

I checked each and every room individually - there were around 60 in all.

Curiously the spider rooms sometimes spawn a spider jockey, but the skeleton is invisible ^^

You checked every room?! That is quite a feat brother! To bad the dungeons have been shut down or we could have put your knowledge to good use!
