MC Username: wardog4445

Rp Username (be sure to include the correct prefix, look up on info thread): So'Bukaknog

Character Skillset:

75 Archery

100 Swords

75 Smithing

25 Cooking

Appearance (age, SUBRACE, gender):

28, Kha'Tigrasi, male

Personality:

Bukaknog is slow to anger yet even slower to calm. He holds no one in higher standing than himself. An intelligent being on the inside, he has trouble conveying his thoughts to others though with his simple knowledge of the common tounge. He typically must have his friends convey his simple phrases, so they are not misconstrued by the snobbier beings. Due to this he will usually not hold anyone in high standing because they solely have an art for words. He respects those who are skilled in the hunt. Any good that comes of him he credits to the goddess, any bad that comes to him and he immediatly thinks of what he did to anger her.

Please include a short bio of your character's life:

Bukaknog was raised among the deserts of the Karakuta city, it is all he has known, save the jungles of his former home before the volcano eruption. His upbringing was that of the wilds, the largest of his litter he has an easy time proving himself among his siblings. His role as the biggest also forced him in a position as the protector of his siblings. On hunts he would distract the large beasts so his smaller brothers and sisters could attack it safely. He watched the den with his father at nights. Learning much in the talks of life and of the hunt. By day he would sleep until the sun was high. When he awoke he was immediatly greeted by the members of his litter, eager for the hunt to begin. Bukaknog continued in these duties for days on end. Protecting, hunting, learning.

He was content, but not fulfilled. He hungered for challenge, he hungered for satisfaction. Driven by a need for self-fullfillment he came to his father for a look into a new path, a new life. The game of the jungles no longer provided him the entertainment it did in his previous years. He could slay the largest of beasts himself if he so chose to. When Bukaknog spoke with his father, granted the teachings of the hammer and the sword. For in order to craft a fine blade, you must know how to swing a fine blade. He trained for years, bearing the burns of the iron and the welts of the dulled swords. He wore them proudly. With his newfound skills however, his siblings sometimes were forced to hunt alone. Not being as large or skilled as Bukaknog they were sometimes wounded by the beasts, being forced to hunt without their protector's help. One day, Bukaknog ignored the call of his siblings on the hunt. Feeling they shall be fine alone with the beasts of the jungle. To their distress however, they did not scope out the game. When they went to take their kill, the beasts were close together. In the trees and in the clearing. When the beasts had seen their mate wounded by the arrows of the Kha'Tigrasi, they charged. The runt of Bukaknog's litter was slain by the golden swords of these beasts. Succumbed by their vast numbers and unable to keep pace with the group. As the protector, Bukaknog was charged with the death of a Kharajyr. Refusing to accept his punishment for the foolery of his brother, Bukaknog fled. Living as a hermit in the deepness of the jungles, his former home now renewed with nature. Practicing his crafts with the scraps of fallen hunters and the susceptible game of the wilds.

Character's ambitions:

To seek redemption from his goddess. To show that despite his fault, he can redeem himself among his people. To become a Kha'Tigrasi by right once more.

_---Situational Rp Questions---_

1.

As you travel through the Karakatuan jungle, you spot a human trespassing on your nation's lands. He approaches you, obviously distressed, and asks for any food, water, or shelter that you can provide, then tells you that he has been lost in the area for days without any proper supplies. How do you react?:

Assessing the strange creature's intentions he would either trade meats and drinks for the human's tools and what's left of his supplies, should he be reasonable with Bukaknog. Taking no attempts to hide from the smaller, hairless creature. He would observe the human from a distance, questioning whether it would be a worthy trophy or not. Deciding against it he would confront the human with his weapon drawn, be it bow or sword.

*"Keep still liddle cow mawn." Bukaknog says as he edges closer towards the weary traveller. The terrified human complies, holding his hands up in submission. "Yu have weapn liddle cow mawn?" The human unstraps his sword belt dropping it to the ground. Bukaknog snatches the belt from the ground, stepping away from the human. He examines the simple blade. Frowning at the lack of creativity and craftsmanship. He drops the blade near him. Sheathing his sword he asks "Whut dus liddle cow mawn want den?" The human asks for supplies and water. Bukaknog takes the sword as payment, trading food, lumber and water for the iron. He sends the human on his way, pointing in the general direction of a village. He begins to smelt the sword down for iron.*

2.

As you romp through the lands of the "apes", you come across a tavern. Inside this tavern, a Dwarf notices you and starts gawking at you, then begins to speak.

"Oi! I gots a bowl of cream for you, Kitty! Ha! I'd bet you would make a nice throw rug, wouldn't ya, ya mangy furball?!"

He continues act generally as racist as possible. What do you do?:

Bukaknog places his order at the bar. From there he goes to a quiet corner near the end, unstrapping his bow and placing his sword belt beside him. The pommel facing towards him. Should the dwarf persist, Bukaknog shall beckon him forth. So that he may not raise his voice among the room. The dwarf acknowledges the gesture, grinning as he comes closer towards Bukaknog. His breath smells thick of ale and the filth of his meal speckles his beard. Bukaknog stares at the unfamiliar being. Comparing the dwarf to a pig by physical appearance he asks "Why does liddle pig mawn chuuse tu hassle mighdy So'Bukaknog?" He stairs into his mug, grinning with pointed teeth, his whiskers perking upward. The dwarf continues with racial slurs moving from side to side with drunkenness. Finishing his meal, Bukaknog rises, collecting his belongings and strapping his sword to his waist. The candlelight accents the orange of his fur, as well as reflecting off of his jade irises. He glares down at the dwarf, nodding towards the bartender as he departs from the establishment. The dwarf was not worth the exersion it would take to clean his blade.

3.

One of your fellow Kharajyr and a close friend of yours comes to your dwelling in the middle of the night and begins to pound on your door. After you let him in, he confesses to killing another Kharajyr over a slice of cake. What do you do in response?

Refusing to be associated with a legitimate Kharajyr slayer. Bukaknog would immediatly cut his ties off from the murderer. Telling him to leave immediatly, lest he wishes to hasten his demise.

Do you swear to follow the Tlatlanni and uphold his law, and do you swear to hold Metztli and all of her actions as sacred? ((I'll add this as well as the skin when I am ready to join.))

Please include a screenshot or 3D render of your character's skin ((I'll place it whenever I wrap up everything with my dwarf character.))

I look forward to RPing with you once more. As fun as being a dwarf is, I never quite made the caliber of friends that I had whilst being human. The maturity I see within this race comforts and assures me that I shall see deep and fruitful RP once more. I thank you Lykos, I thank you for everything. :D

No, just many bad decisions high up. Many immature players. Then the general weariness of all te good dwarven RPers after this much time of trying to resolve the race's issues. I say this openly, in no way am I talking behind anyone's back. I'm going to make sure MY dwarves, Frostbearda, are in good hands before I change races. Then I'll see if I can get some people I like from my dwarven RP into applying.
